Beautiful cottage in the heart of Usk

Our cottage is light, airy and cosy. The whole cottage has been lovingly renovated. Beautifully renovated terraced cottage with attention to detail bursting at the seams. The Usk cottage is part of a row of small cottages that were built in 1825. An inviting lounge greets you, where you can cosy up in the evenings after long walks or days exploring. The stairs are in the lounge leading up to the master bedroom and bathroom. Leading off from the lounge is a hall way leading to a small downstairs double bedroom and 2nd bathroom with shower. The brand new kitchen diner is situated at the back of the property and will be the heart of the home with a beautiful south facing outlook into the enclosed garden. The garden is fenced all around so is safe for dogs. The garden has a super sunny patio space with dining area and a grassed area. Our renovation has been a labour of love ( father and daughter project) We hope you will love it as much as we do! Dogs are always welcome!! We are the biggest dog lovers so please bring along your furry friends to enjoy Usk with you :) Access through front door from pavement. Guests have access to whole property, and garden to the rear. Available for any questions before and during your trip. I am available to greet guests on arrival or there is a key safe if guests prefer to be left alone :) The terraced cottage is located in the centre of Usk, near the town square. All local amenities are within walking distance from the property along with stunning countryside walks in all directions. A wonderful place for your lovely furry friends to explore and relax. The River Usk and Usk Castle are a few minutes walk from the property. Raglan castle 10 minutes drive away. Usk town itself has a Micro brewery, a ginn distillery, a cocktail bar, 2 garden centres, a range of independent shops, co-op, antique shops, coffee shops, butchers, pubs, chip shop, bakery, an ice cream parlour and beautiful places to eat and drink. The New Court Inn - is next door to the cottage, a quiet country pub with a lovely garden and a delicious food menu. There is a delightful children's play park 2 minutes walk from the house with picnic benches and a lovely field for your dogs to play. The beautiful and historic towns of Abergavenny, Crickhowell and Monmouth are all within a 30 minute drive. Located near many wedding venues. - Three Salmons Hotel is a 5 minute walk. Glan yr Afon - 15 minute walk. Cwrt Bleddyn Hotel - 10 minute drive. Usk Castle - 10 minute walk Cefn Tilla Court - 15 minute drive * Raglan farm park - a great day out for the family is a 15 minute drive. *Goytre Wharf, Brecon Canal - 20 minute drive. ** to note there is a defibrillator station situated at the scout hall. As you come out of the front door take a right and you'll see the meadow and the scout hall ** ( 2 mins away) Everything you'll need for a lovely stay is on your doorstep but a car would be great to explore the wider area. It's the perfect location for keen cyclists so bring your bikes along!
