La Feranchie is a superbly renovated Limousin Maison de Maitre in a small tranquil hamlet, 5 miles from Rochechouart. The house is surrounded by extensive lawned grounds and an orchard from where guests are free to pick their own fruit. A stream runs through the garden around the side of the Napoleonic barn. There is a heated private swimming pool which looks out over rolling countryside. In the garden there is also an old tree house and a trampoline. La Feranchie is a small hamlet in the Haute Vienne. 40 mins from Limoges airport. Inside, the house has been completely renovated and contains both original features and all mod cons. There are log burners in the kitchen and living room making the house a cosy retreat in the colder months.
