Pemberley Cottage

Pemberley Cottage is an extremely unique & tranquil boutique self-contained accommodation experience located on a fully operational third generation grazing property in the quaint village of Malmsbury. The cottage overlooks the beautiful Malmsbury Reservoir and offers breathtaking views of the reservoir, iconic bluestone viaduct, Mount Macedon and rolling surrounds. The spacious deck offers the perfect place to unwind & soak up the views or use as a base to explore nearby Kyneton & Daylesford. Guests have the exclusive use of the cottage and cottage paddock; including large deck with BBQ and fire pit overlooking water and mountain views. The wide open spaces also offer excellent star gazing. Guests are able to access the cottage and large cottage paddock via a beautiful tree lined country driveway. Hosts (Olivia & Tim) will greet guests upon arrival and can be called upon if needed. However, we will leave you to soak in the views and enjoy the magic of Pemberley in privacy. Malmsbury offers the perfect base to explore the beauty of both the Macedon Ranges & Hepburn. Malmsbury itself is a quaint little village within walking distance and boasts stunning botanical gardens, a historic walking trail, numerous wineries and a variety of treasured eateries, such as the Malmsbury Bakery, Small Holdings and Moto Bean Café. The reservoir is a great fishing or picnicking spot. Nearby Kyneton(10 minutes drive) and it's well known Piper Street provide endless dining options, with Source Dining & Donkey amongst our favs. As does Daylesford (20 minutes by car) and its indulgent day spas. Try Peppers or Hepburn Day Spa to relax and enjoy the health benefits of the local mineral spa pools. Malmsbury offers some wonderful walking tracks taking in many historic buildings and features built from Malmsbury bluestone in the gold rush.
