Mashobra is a quiet area in Shimla which is 12 kms from the mall road. Its a very pretty town surrounded by a protected forest all around it. It takes about 25 mins to reach the mall road by car. The space The whispering mountain is a comfortable 3BHK HUGE apartment which has CENTRAL HEATED rooms only ( 2,900)SQUARE FEET HOUSE ) 1) it has 3 luxurious HUGE bedrooms, each with large double beds and attached bathrooms . 2) Bedroom -1 with attached bathroom and scenic valley view double bed + sofacum bed 3) Bedroom-2 – with attached bathroom and scenic valley view + double bed +sofa cum bed 4) Bedroom-3- with attached bathroom and balcony +double bed and sofacum bed 5) This house has huge balcony in the common living room of the house with breathtaking views. 6) Outdoor seating is available to enjoy the serene view of the valley below,. 7 ) Rooms include 24hr Running hot and cold water, Shower in bathroom and western style toilets including hot and cold water mixers. 8) There is a washing machine in the house which can be used by the guest 9) Kitchen is outfitted with essential civilities like: 1. cooking and serving its got 2. electric kettle, 3. microwave, 4. induction gas , 5. cooking gas utensils, 6. coffeemaker, egg boiler, geyser, aquaguard etc . We sanitise the place with a chlorine based floor disinfectant and an alcohol based sanitizer before every check in. All linen and towels are washed with antibacterial detergent and fresh clean linen are used for every booking. *How is the mobile connectivity and the wifi? Mobile connectivity at the apartment is decent for all mobile networks. We are work from home friendly and have high speed broadband connections in all the apartments. The broadband company promises 100 mbps speed but we have observed the average speed to be between 35 mbps and 60 mbps What are the check in and check out timings? The check in time for all apartments is after 12pm and the check out is between (Phone number hidden by Airbnb) :30 am. We have a late check out penalty post 11:30 am ,Rs 500 if a late check out has not been agreed in advance. This is to make sure we are on time as unlike hotels we do not have waiting rooms and guests have travelled a long way so we aim to have a sparkling home waiting for them ready on the check in time. *Can I check in early or check out late? Early check ins and late check outs depend on the booking before or after you . Early check in and late check outs are possible in cases only when there is no reservations before or after you. What all is included in the price? The price includes the apartments rental cost, the services of the caretaker and basic daily cleaning for the rooms. The caretaker is there to help you with your check in and is your point of contact for any issues being faced. You are advised to tip him in case you are asking him to get your groceries or helping with other tasks. *What are the available food options ? All apartments have a fully functional kitchen available for guest use and the apartment cost does not include food. The food options are as follows- 1. You can order food through some restaurants which deliver food home, the menus are kept at home. 2. You can go out and enjoy places close by : The Retreat Mashobra, the chalets, Nilaya etc are close by. 3. About the COOK, only If available ,she will come cook on chargeable basis – all meals breakfast & dinner (before 6pm). 1. Charges- up to 4 adults –(Rs 250 ,per meal) + utensils charges (Rs150) 2. 5 adults - Rss300 per meal + utensil charge -Rs 150 (per wash) 3. Up to 6 adults- (Rs450,per meal) + utensils charges 4. We have a servant/driver’s accommodation in the building complex. The charges are INR 350 per night . *Are pets allowed? Not allowed . *What about smoking and drinking inside the house? All our homes have smoking balconies. Smoking inside the house is strictly prohibited as the smoke can stick inside and cause irritation to kids or other guests who come after. Also because of the excessive use of wood in the homes it's a fire hazard. Drinking is allowed inside the house. Can we party inside the house? Mashobra is a silent valley and loud music post 10 is not permitted. We like to think of ourselves as a mild music + conversation kinda place and respect the peace of others in the vicinity. NO Smoking inside the house ( as the house is made from wood majorly) 2. please don't break crockery, furniture we might request payment for damages if any. 3.NO pets in the property strictly . 4. NO throwing / puking in the house - Rs 10,000 fine would be charged . 7.
