The Garden Room is at the back of Clifton Villa, accessed through the house porch. Large self-catering studio room with a double bed, sofa, comfy chair and a storage unit with kettle, toaster and microwave. Bathroom has a toilet, basin and shower. Guests can sit or eat in the patio garden using the chairs, table and bench. Clifton Villa is 200 meters from the beach lawns, promenade and seafront. Local Co-op, baker, butcher, take-aways and cafes. Town centre and Weston Hospital nearby. Clifton Villa is a Victorian house, and the Garden Room studio is an extension on the back, accessed via house porch and garden. Good sized, clean, studio room, with double bed and comfortable furniture. Short walk along the flat to the beach, town centre etc. Free parking on the road outside - which can be busy in peak times. Or pay to park on the sea-front. Local bus stops in next road. Weston Hospital is approx. a mile away. Whitecross Road shops nearby offer butcher, baker, hairdressers, newsagent, co-op, cashpoint etc. Café and takeaway drinks/breakfast etc along sea front. Su and Hugh live in Clifton Villa with their adult daughter Rosie and dog, Ted. We are happy to chat when we see guests, and can deal with any queries about the area, Garden Room facilities etc. But guests are able to come and go freely without necessarily seeing us. Clifton Villa is in the popular Whitecross Village area of WsM. Local shops include butcher, baker, newsagent, Co-op, vintage furniture/clothes and interiors, Indian and Chinese food, hairdressers etc. Walk along the prom into town, or visit the beach and the pier. Plenty of eating places along the seafront and in town. Local parks include Clarence Park with children's play area, café, bowling green and plenty of grassy areas. Weston Hospital is just under a mile away - so the accommodation is ideal for people visiting the hospital or on placement/working there. Local area is on the flat, and is an easy walk to the sea front, Tropicana, local shops or the town centre. Train station 15 min walk away Buses available 3 min walk (to town centre, Weston Hospital, Burnham-on-Sea etc) Free on-street parking - can be busy in peak season Bikes can be locked in the garden. The studio has a double bed, but a travel cot is also available.
