We would like to welcome you to our friendly country home, situated just one mile from the centre of Henley on Thames. Handywater Cottage is set in lovely gardens which you are welcome to enjoy during your stay. You can wake to the sounds of an English country garden, sit in the sun during the day or relax with a glass of wine in the evening!---We have birds in the trees, fish in the pond and horses in the paddocks. We have secure car parking behind electric gates and a restaurant/pub right next door and the Henley area, which is an official Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, has many fine restaurants and good pubs. We hope we can tempt you to come and stay with us and look forward to welcoming you to Handywater Cottage very soon! We are ideally situated for a visit to Henley. But why not stay a while and explore the surrounding area? There are many historic towns, castles and gardens just a short drive away. Handywater is in a small village a mile outside Henley on Thames. The area is an AONB, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Yet the local train station will take you to London Paddington in 50 minutes and even Heathrow airport is only 35 min away. We feel very privileged to live in such a beautiful area of England and hope that you too discover and appreciate the beauty of this part of Oxfordshire.
