Cilcoll Farm Coach House is on the outskirts of Llandybie within easy reach of our outstanding Brecon Beacons national park. You can walk to Carreg Cennen castle, track across the Beacons, arrange to climb Penyfan endless options. Llandeilo, Ammanford, Carmarthen are all local picturesque towns with lots of boutique shops, coffee shops , lovely pubs and excellent eateries. For the golfers; Glynhir golf course is within 3 miles, the Ashburnam, Machynnys are all within 30 minutes drive. This is a recently refurbished holiday let, we have kitted it out with great makes such as Portmeirion Hare range, Joseph Joseph, together with a good quality thread count linen bedding all M&S. The Property is set with views of the black mountains to rear and on an evening you can sit on the decking and watch the world go by. There are three other permanent dwellings all with children. It’s a very family oriented place and it’s lovely to hear laugher in the air. We have three dogs, cats, chickens, emus, pigs and sheep so please note this is a working small holding. If you would like to meet the animals please ask we would love to introduce you to them. Private parking together with a private decked area with outstanding views and picnic bench table outside. Breakfast al fresco highly recommended, we are happy to supply free range eggs at a small charge. Please note the property is strictly non smoking and if you do smoke outside please take away with you. We welcome dogs as we have three amazing terrier crosses who are well behaved and like nothing more than cuddles, some fuss and lots of play. Within a mile walk is the Heart of Wales trainline which runs all the way to Shrewsbury, great day out see the heart of Wales in comfort. There are plently of walks, green lanes to access the countryside, black mountains and Towy Valley. Parking is on a gravel area in front of cottage, safe and quiet location. Although the immediate garden and decking area looks small we have a larger gated garden to the side of the cottage, proven great for football games, chase, hide and seek ans just to relax and enjoy the countryside. We are always here to help, if little ones or big ones want to meet the emus, pigs or other fur and feathered animals please ask, there is nothing nicer than seeing a face light up as they meet Ed the Emu for the first time… he likes it too especially if there is a slice of bread for him….. We are a small holding working farm , our holiday cottage sits at the end of our garden nestled by stone walls , with fencing to create individual outdoor area , decking to two sides to front of property with two lawned areas. This leads onto stoned parking area and lane. To the rear is small partially enclosed space. Running at side of our cottage there is a public footpath which can be followed to Llandyfan and Glynhir. We have three dogs loose around our property who are friendly with people and most other dogs. We also have sheep, pigs , emus and poultry and our peacock George II. With spectacular views of the Black mountains and valleys to all aspects of the property. Our neighbours and us also have young children so the air is full of laughter especially at the weekends when school is out. Amazing place for families and of course if you would you like to meet our emus we can arrange that too as they love a piece of bread. Ample parking space, the Heart of Wales train line is within a mile walk, local bus routes, bike tracks and ample green lanes. Lots of public footpaths in the area Can we please ask that either one dog or two small dogs only and they must be a good natured with other people, children and our dogs. Great location for enduro and motorbike riders and pedal bikers, lots of green lanes. Plenty of lovely walks with historic trails to follow, within a mile walking distance is The Red Lion; meet Huw for great pub grub and family friendly pub and dogs are welcome here. Further afield is Llandeilo renowned for its eateries and gin bar. Ammanford has just opened a rum bar and a place called Blas which is being talked about locally. Personally our favourite is Wrights Emporium Llanarthne just a 15-20 minute drive , amazing food , hosts , wines and guest ales. For a real eye opener ask to sit in the wine room … mind blowing choice Further afield Coast just outside Amroth and The Beach at Oxwich, for either book in advance , Hywel was featured on Britain’s Best Dish and The Beach is his home restaurant.
