A unique country home has finally opened its doors! Le Logis de Courterolles is an independent apartment located on the 1st floor in the former extension of the castle. The apartment consists of a spacious and bright living room, 2 bedrooms, a kitchen and a bathroom. It has an access to a spectacular 8 ha parkland where you can dine outside, enjoy botanical collection of the gardens, artworks and picturesque landscape. Courterolles is an ideal location to visit main attractions in Burgundy. This 120m2 apartment has kept all charm of the castle's original features. The main bedroom is facing one of the chapel's stained- glass windows. In winter you can rest and unwind in front of a cosy fireplace and in summer you can go walking in a beautiful private park of the castle. The 1st floor is accessible via an outdoor stone stairs overlooking the vegetable garden. The apartment is totally private. You will get a key to a little gate to make your outings easier. Your hostess lives on the grounds of the property. She speaks 4 languages : French, Italian, English and Russian. She will welcome you, introduce you to the property and will help you with any queries you have. We have prepared a booklet that will make your visit and outings a bit easier. Courterolles is close to famous historical destinations such Vezlay , the Abbey of Fontenay .Most of the attractions are only an hour away from Courterolles. Beautiful medival village of Montreal is 5 km from the property. There are plenty of restraunts, shops, markets to see in the neighbouring villages and in Avallon ( 20km).
