Cadre romantique dans un petit hameau ancien et tranquille entouré de forêt et de nature. Notre ancienne maison en pierre a été rénovée au cours des dernières années pour fournir le caractère avec tout le confort moderne. Once four farm workers cottages and a bread oven, our home has been renovated to include a spacious and light ground floor apartment for two, is very well-equipped for a relaxing holiday, and is a fantastic base for exploring the beautiful Dordogne region. Whether you plan to stay a few nights or a couple of weeks, everything you could possibly need is here. All the rooms are easily accessible for guests with reduced mobility. The jacuzzi bathroom is up 4 steps but the ensuite is ground level. We live in the house attached to the apartment so will be available to assist you with planning your sightseeing, visits to local markets, farms and if your interest is in things from a bygone era, we can direct you to local brocantes and vide greniers that are held every weekend through Summer. We are 5 minutes from Brantôme by car, with its Michelin starred restaurants, cafés and boutiques, on the edge of the Périgord Limousin National Park, and in under 30 minutes you can visit some of France's most beautiful villages, chateaux and troglodyte caves. Just across the road you can visit the ruins of a 12th Century Benedictine Abbey, and explore our hamlet which has great historic significance and a fascinating history. We are under 1 hour from the Angoulème TGV station and Bergerac airport.1.5 hours from Limoges TGV and airport. Bordeaux is under 2 hours by car. We are surrounded by beautiful walking and cycle tracks through woods, hamlets and villages, with stunning countryside views. Walkers, cyclists, motorcyclists, artists, photographers, nature watchers will all be in awe of the beauty around us. COVID 19 : Notre commune a jusqu'à présent été épargnée par le virus. L'appartement est entièrement nettoyée et désinfectée après chaque location. Les draps, taies d'oreiller, housse de couette, serviettes et torchons sont lavés à haute température (60°) pour éliminer toute trace éventuelle de virus. Tous les équipements de cuisine passeront par le lave-vaisselle entre les locations. Nous porterons une attention particulière à la désinfection de toute surface de contact, notamment poignées de portes, clés, interrupteurs, etc. Nous laisserons 24 heures pour aérer l'appartement entre les séjours.
