Very convenient for all central Scotland .. 5 minute walk from Falkirk town centre and 2 minute walk to Falkirk High station; trains every 15 minutes to Edinburgh/Glasgow (20mins to each) also bus from outside house to the Falkirk Wheel/Kelpies. We are popular with fans of Harry Potter, Outlander and Braveheart and people walking the John Muir Way. Free parking. If combined with other listing we can accommodate 4 people if both are available together. This is an old late Victorian semi-villa with lots of original features. This room has a king size bed and has its own ensuite. We do not have extra beds to put into the room and our house is not particularly suitable for children or wheelchairs. Our accommodation is flexible. We have another double ensuite room - you can have your choice of rooms if they are both free. Guests can access other areas of the house and garden by arrangement on arrival. Guests can be as private as they want but are very welcome to join us if they wish. We know Scotland and the local area very well and will happily help you with your plans. We are very lucky to live in a residential area close to the town centre where there are plenty of shops, restaurants and pubs. We are also very near the Union Canal, you can walk to the Falkirk Wheel in about 3/4hr along the towpath. Callander Estate is close by where there are lots of lovely walks. The house is a 10 minute walk from Falkirk Grahamston station where you can get trains to Inverness and London Kings X. There is bike hire nearby for exploring the forest and canal networks. There is a welcome sheet which explains everything about your room but if there is anything you are unsure of, just ask. Pickups can be arranged from airports and railway stations for a small extra charge ... just ask. We would like to have the room back by 10.30am on checkout day unless some other arrangement has been agreed.
