The room has a large TV mounted on the wall and there is a good Wi-Fi signal. Tea and coffee is provided. Hairdryer and ironing board/iron available on request. Towels are provided (in room). The house is quiet, relaxed and welcoming, perfect for contractors, holidaymakers or if you are looking for a relaxing retreat. Please note that the bedroom and facilities are upstairs. Guests have access to a spacious shared living room and bathroom. There is also access to a shared kitchenette with kettle, toaster, fridge/freezer, oven, hob and microwave. Middleyard is about a mile from Kings Stanley where there is a well stocked Co-Op, takeaway, hairdressers and beauty salon. Sainsbury’s Supermarket is just over a mile away. Pleasant village pubs and take-away. Located on the Cotswold way, there are plenty of woodland and canal side walks locally. Bus links on the hour to Stroud, Stonehouse and Gloucester. Onward travel by train to Cheltenham or the London main line from Stonehouse station. Beautiful walks around the local valley on your doorstep, through fields, along the canal, by the river, in the woods (managed by the Woodland Trust), Selsley Common and a short drive will take you to Rodborough Common and Michinhampton Common. Must climb stairs - standard flight of stairs into property. There is unfortunately no provision for disabled access.
