Comfortable bedroom inside the cabin with huge views of farmland and mountains. Very comfortable new bed and luxurious linen. The Strawbale Studio has electricity, lighting, heating, (electric heater and pot-belly woodstove/fireplace), running water (outside), bathroom facilities with a brand new nature-bathroom 25 steps from your door which features a composting toilet and instant-gas, endless hot water shower. Glamping style outdoor lounge area, maximizing the regions beautiful views and warm climate. It does not have wifi at this time, but has excellent cell service for you to hotspot your own wifi. The cabin does not have kitchen facilites to cook a meal, but it does have a small selection of plates/cutlery etc to eat your takeout or your breakfast. There are a wonderful selection of restaurants, cafes, wineries and microbreweries in the immediate area. Guests have access to the entire cabin space and are welcome to walk the surrounding farm land (please always close gates behind you). Private parking space right beside the cabin Heather is your caretaker and her mobile number is at the studio for questions and assistance. She lives 10km down the river. You are welcome to roam the 25 acres which is our farm, you may see other guests staying at the 2 houses up the driveway from time to time. This is an operating farm, so please ALWAYS close gates behind you. Motueka River is 2 mins from your doorstep The turn off to the Kahurangi National Park is on the corner, and the trailhead carpark is an adventurous, steep 20min drive (Phone number hidden by Airbnb) min drive into Motueka township, likewise a similar distance to the trailhead to Abel Tasman National Park A car is essential unless you are cycling to us on the Tasman Great Taste Trail While this space is cosy and luxurious, please be aware that it is a "unique space"... this means that your bathroom facilities are a composting toilet and instant-gas hot water shower, that you dont have a full service kitchen, at this time there is no wifi, and your running water is a tap on the fence outside your front door. This is a rural spot, 22km out of Motueka township, and the property is an operating farm. If you enjoy off-grid, unique and magical experiences for your Airbnb stays, this one is for you.
