Nestled amongst the gum, avocado and mango trees ‘The Aviary’ is a private, quiet and tranquil place to relax and unwind. The Aviary over looks a private 9 (short) hole golf course making it perfect for golfers. Diddillibah is centrally located on the Sunshine Coast ideal for exploring. It’s just a 10min drive to stunning beaches, or the shops and restaurants of Maroochydore. A 15 min drive and you can be up in the breathtaking hinterland. We also have a 2nd listing-The Nest. PLEASE READ in full prior to booking. The Aviary is located away from the main house and has its own entrance and parking space. Set over one level The Aviary has a separate bedroom and bathroom. The main room has a spacious living area and well appointed kitchen. Outside there is a little private deck with breakfast bar, ideal for watching the the day dawn or the sun set. The kitchen: Gas cook top/bar fridge Kettle/toaster Microwave/toasty maker Electric rice cooker Pots/pans/cooking utensils Cutlery/crockery/glasses Dish cloth/washing liquid Kitchen roll/tea towels *NO dishwasher *NO oven The living area: 49inch smart TV inc Netflix DVDs and player Reverse cycle air conditioning and large ceiling fan. The bathroom: NB: Shower only *NO bath We supply: Towels/shower gel Shampoo/conditioner Hand soap/toilet paper Hairdryer The bedroom: Queen bed/white bed linen bed side tables/lamps chest of drawers/wardrobe Iron/ironing board Along with a reverse cycle air conditioning. Outdoor space: NB: There isn’t a garden/lawned area for use with this property. However there is a deck with a breakfast bar, stools and chairs. Also, you are most welcome to walk/stroll on the golf course. Check in details will be messaged to you once your booking has been made. The driveway access is shared with ourselves, and our other listing, The Nest. Please park in your allocated space. We appreciate our guests like to relax in the peace and quiet; however we always try and pop down to say ‘hi’ at some point. Should you have a question or if we can be of help in anyway, please feel free to ask. Diddillibah is a pretty and quiet area. You will feel like you’re in the middle of the countryside and yet it’s so central for exploring the whole coast and hinterland. Woombye -5 minute drive, with a Spar, butchers, bakery, post office, bank, chemist, newsagents, laundrette, a pub and a selection of coffee shops. Maroochydore -15 minute drive, there you will find a large shopping mall, bars, restaurants and coffee shops galore. Cotton Tree -15 minute drive has a beautiful park area and it’s where the river meets the ocean. It has an array of individual shops and great coffee. Eumundi Markets -20 minute drive are a ‘must go to’ for visitors. Coolum -20 minute drive. For those more energetic visitors I’d highly recommend climbing the mount.Once climbed you can pop into Coolum and grab a coffee or cool drink and wander along the boardwalk or onto the beach. Palmwoods -10 minute drive Home to Ricks Garage. A fabulous themed pub that serves delicious burgers and juicy ribs. Live music and a gorgeous beer garden. Montville- 20 minute drive. Such a pretty little hinterland town with lots of shops, restaurants and coffee shops. Although Diddillibah is central for exploring the Coast, the public transport is very limited and we highly recommend you having your own transport. Please make yourself aware of the cancellation policy, with regards to covid and refunds. The golf course is a short (7 iron max) 9 hole course. It’s very relaxed and those wishing to play can do so (for a small fee, payable in cash prior to playing) Booking a tee off time is not required. We have clubs, trolley, etc that you are most welcome to borrow. Also worth noting, Ubers operate in our area.
