Beachfront luxury at its finest! ****Very Important: ALL OF THE PICTURES ARE OF OR FROM THE APARTMENT (don't be fooled by other listings which show generic views of Bondi or the beach but which aren't actually from the apartment)**** * LITERALLY THE BEST LOCATION IN BONDI: Located on the corner of Campbell Pde and Lamrock Ave - right in the heart of Bondi's trendy shops, bars, and famous restaurants such as Iceberg's (2 minute walk). Hall St's restaurants and shops are 2 minutes the other direction. Funky Birichina Italian cafe/coffee shop and long-time family owned Gelbison's pizza, both in the building, are fantastic and have great, friendly owners. * Renovated, decorated, and expertly furnished entirely by Coco Republic Design (Australia's highest end luxury furniture and design shop). * 3 bedroom each with queen or double/full and external windows - sleeps 6 comfortably * Air conditioning and heat in living area and master bedroom * Large entertaining area with sweeping views of Bondi Beach including 10-seat dining table - perfect views for New Years Eve or any other night on the beach! * Top floor penthouse in a boutique apartment block with 14 units (important note: no elevator - 4th floor walk-up) * Beautiful kitchen with gas fired high end Bosch and Smeg appliances * Wifi and FOXTEL with ultimate TV package including all channels * Potential access to surfboards available on request (short board, boogie board) * Public transit stops in front of the building - very easy access to and from the CBD/opera house (10-15 minutes in a cab/Uber for about A$30, or 30 minutes on public transit for about A$5). I've lived in this building for 14 years and didn't have a car most of the time - you don't need one * No parking, however a temporary parking pass can be arranged for the street (again, I recommend against having a car) Enjoy your stay! Sean All parts of the apartment can be used, however we will store some of our stuff in various closets and cupboards and will kindly ask you not to use those things. I have lived in Bondi for 14 years and will happily share knowledge of tourist activities in Sydney and Bondi, including restaurant advice, if guests want it. Equally, if they want to explore on their own, I will stay out of the way. Bondi Beach is the most famous beach in Australia. Full of outdoor activities, leading restaurants, bars, and shops, no visit to Sydney is complete without a visit. It is a thriving beach community only a short distance from the other main Sydney tourist attractions (e.g. 30 mins on public transport to the Opera House via easy, direct routes - even less time in an affordable cab/Uber). My apartment has the VERY BEST location, even within Bondi. Northeast facing, with sunrises over the water every morning, and in the middle of the best restaurants, shops and bars. This is a lively and fun neighboruhood, with everything you need only a short walk away. Public transit is easy and convenient, with buses from the city stopping right in front of the building. Busses to the city depart from either 100 meters up the road or 100 meters down the road. The CBD, Circular Quay, Opera House, Harbour Bridge, Rocks and other notable tourist attractions are all only about 30 minutes away (even less in an affordable taxi or Uber). Some disclaimers, to ensure that your experience matches expectations: * Personal belongings: My wife and I live here as a primary residence, so please do not expect that it will be spartan like a hotel, cleansed of all personal belongings. One positive is that you get to use "our good stuff", like Laguiole silver cutlery hand made in France (the imported high end, heavy weight version, not the flimsy, cheap version sold in Australia) and Orrefors crystal champagne flutes hand blown in Sweden. * Noise: Bondi is very lively in summer, and you're choosing to live right in the middle of the action. I think this is a wise choice (we live here full time for a reason), but if you are ultra sensitive to noise then I recommend bringing earplugs, as occasionally there might be street noise you can hear (certainly not every night, but it can happen every now and then) * Potential for pests in summer: in ANY warm, moist climate by the sea, bugs generally exist in the outdoor environment. Bondi has lots. Some of them climb walls and fly, and in the open-air lifestyle of summer where windows are often open one will occasionally find its way into the nicest and cleanest of apartments, restaurants, and shops. Rest assured that the building's owners corporation takes active measures to prevent this (regular thorough cleaning, preventative sprays and traps, etc) and you are unlikely to encounter any, but it is impossible for anyone in Bondi to guarantee 100% success.
