The house is set in its own grounds nestled away but still walking distance from the village centre. The garden has a patio area for alfresco dining, Flame Grill BBQ and fire pit and a breakfast area too. We have 2 lovely traditional lounges and a conservatory with dining table and sofa for relaxing or socialising. Until recently this was our family home a place where we raised our children, entertained our friends and made happy memories we hope you will enjoy it as much as we do. I love the traditional feel to the place and its character ,stain glass window and wide stair case, large fire places and cosy individual rooms. Our refreshing conservatory brings the outdoors indoors. The house style is relaxed nonpompous, luxury. Barrowford is a wonderful village with a few lovely shops and tasty restaurants, vibrant bars/pubs and top notch wine bar (Wills) and plenty of cafes too. There is a Booths store and also individual quality butchers a grocers and convenience stores. Close to the heart of the beautiful Pendle countryside and iconic Pendle Hill with its historic connection to Witches. Also situated close to the area of outstanding natural beauty The Forest of Bowland , Ribble valley and The Yorkshire Dales and Lake District are within 60 - 90 mins drive too. If you like the great outdoors and walking or cycling or if you prefer shopping and dining & Spas we can help you out with recommendations, routes and options. Close by to the house we have some excellent amenities for everyone whatever you like to do . We have an excellent Chauffer who we can arrange for you, if you advise us in advance of what your requirements might be we can check his availability....if you are wanting to explore a little further a field than the village to the Lake district , Yorkshire dales or into the city maybe an afternoon shopping in Manchester or a gourmet meal in the ribble valley we can help with recommendations and transport and prices. Local taxi companies are reasonable and abundant and we are close to train and bus links into Manchester or Yorkshire. All the village amenities plus the village park and green space are all within walking distance and lots of walking routes from the door ( please email for specific routes and requirements).
