Bay Beach and Spectacular Forest walks

We call this the 'EON'. Its a luxury log frame cabin built in the shape of a pyramid. Sitting on a ridge overlooking a West coast Auckland harbour and forests. Also farmland with sheep, cows and native forests. 35 mins. to City This is the area where the New Zealand TV series '800 Words' is shot. Please note, a new building went up in the south of the EON which has cut some of the sea views. The space is unique and novell. Open plan with a fire and luxury furnishings. Full kitchen, bathroom and laundry. Fully wired for data/fast broadband, sound, music(Spotify). This is a new building with all new furnishings. It has wrap around decks and great views. The EON is independant stand alone and very private. Double car park and or space for trailer or boat parking or guest cars. Auckland airport/city return pickup available on request. Guided hikes along Sir Edmund Hilary trail and scenic tours available. Harbour & Ocean fishing available. Mountain biking, kayaking tours possible. Though close to the city, this area is is rural and surrounded by the sea, native forest, hills and escarpments reminiscent of the Marlborough Sounds and Coromandal. We access magnificent hiking trails that will take one up the wild west coast where there is no road access. Go for a short walk around the bay or walk all day through New Zealand Native forests, cross mountain streams and swim under waterfalls. Or just chill in this very cool space. There is no public transport here other than an early school bus so we offer quality transport to and from the city and airport on arrival and departure. If staying additional days, we can arrange transport to the city, the local village and onwards using a variety of transport options. This accommodation is 35 minutes from downtown Auckland City. A quiet sleepy coastal village with 1 excellent local Cafe. Its quiet and rural, a great place for international visitors to acclimatize to the local NZ time or City folks get away for a weekend or longer.
