"Villa Sofia" is a 2-storey beachfront home on the sandy coast of the Ionian Sea, that offers direct access to the beach. It can accommodate 4adults + 2kids, to a master bedroom, a loft with a double bed, usually used for kids, and an independent double guest house with bathroom ensuite. It has a big wonderful garden with grass and trees offering lot of shadow corners for outdoor living and dining, and lot off safe space for kids. "Villa Sofia" is a 2-storey vacation house, in front of the sea, just on the sandy Ionian coast, in Kanali village, about 12 klm north of the City of Preveza, on the North-West Greek coast. It is a favorite family vacation home of an architect and a decorator from Ioannina, who spend their summers in this, and offer hospitality for some weeks every year. It is completely renovated, and we add something special every year... (This year we renovated the master bathroom).... The house stays in the midle off a wonderful garden of 1500m2, with grass and trees offering lot of shadow corners . It has two floors. Upper floor is the main bedroom, with a A/C, a bathroom and an open loft with a double bed. If needed, the loft can easily provide elementary visual isolation with a system of 4 sliding curtains. Thus four adults can be accommodated in the first floor of the building. On the ground floor, there is a fully equipped kitchen (dishwasher) a dining area and a small WC. Two steps further down is the Living room, (with open fireplace, TV and a double sofa-bed), leading out onto the garden and the raised courtyard with pergola and a built-in barbecue. . There is also a separate guest house with a double bed and a bathroom with shower. It has an A/C, entrance from the garden and may accommodate two more person(URL HIDDEN) The BBQ area is awesome and you will enjoy grilling fresh fish or souvlaki almost every night. Dinner outside is a must, and usually there are no mosquitos to bother you. . Courtyards with plant-cover shadow sittings and a covered area for rainy days. In the back gardens there is a small melon field which supply the family and guests with herbs and salads of the season. (It is a real treat to be able to pick vegetables from the garden - tomatoes, zucchini, eggplant, basil, peppers, okra…. But the best of all is the fig tree..... ) At walking distance some nice small taverns and 'cafe' in the beach front, a village with market place, and a water-park very joyful for the kids (at 5 min walk) 2 bicycles are available free for easy access to the village and surrounding countryside walks Guests have access to the main house (furnished with 2 double and a sofa-bed), the yard and the garden. You may use free the bicycles, the BBQ, and harvest the products of the vegetable garden and fruit trees. You may also use the separate guest house, which has a double bed and a bathroom with shower. We always wait for our guests to meet them and to inform them about the home and the surrounding area. Sometimes we stay in space (in another independent home, in the back side of the main housing, without visual or other communication with it), so quests can ask for anything they need. The house is located in the middle of a sandy beach, about 500 meters from the village of 'canali' where you can find your daily market or visit a tavern or a cafeteria.
