The central location of Kehrsatz makes it possible to reach many worth seeing destinations in a short time such as the old town of Bern with the Aare, the Bernese Oberland, Emmental, Naturpark Gantrisch, Greyèrzerland and much more. Gurten is a recreation area with a panoramic view of the city of Bern and the Alps. The Gurten can be reached in an hour's walk. A funicular also leads up from Wabern to the Gurten. Very quiet and green location in the residential area. There are two supermarkets in the area: Coop and Lidl and a petrol station. It takes approx. 20min walk to lidl and the Petrol station. Coop is reachable within 15mins and 5mins by car. There is a self-service mini farmer market that opens from Monday to Sunday. Fresh organic food and vegetables are sold there.
