Peacefully Situated on South Lakeland leisure village with its own private hot tub. 3 bedrooms sleeping 6 guests. Two bathrooms , one with a bath. Fully equipped Kitchen with dishwasher. Washing machine.50 inch Smart TV. On site there is a restaurant, a small bar, a swimming pool and gym (additional costs) Most of my guests don't leave the lodge whilst here, however if you're a keen walker, there's are lots of beautiful walks. Lovely restaurants can be driven too within a couple of miles. Located on a peaceful park, ideal for those you want to relax and forget the world for a few days. My Lodge is the ideal place for families or couples, sorry no groups wanting to party unfortunately. It is a 6 berth measuring 42 foot by 20ft. The spacious open plan lounge is comfortably furnished for up to six guests with two leather sofas and one arm chair. The dining area has a table and seating for six people. Patio doors lead onto a large decked area with hot tub, garden table, gas bbq over looking partial adjoining lakeside views. The lodge has a Smart 50 inch TV. FREE wifi. Books and board games, plenty of entertainment, you'll not want to leave the cosiness! The kitchen has everything you could need and includes oven, hob, dishwasher, microwave , toaster, fridge and freezer. I also have a washing machine, iron and ironing board. The main bedroom has a double bed, a walk in wardrobe and drawer space along with an en-suite shower room. The second bedroom has a double bed, fitted wardrobe and drawer unit and bed side cabinets. The third bedroom has two single beds and two wardrobes. There is a separate second bathroom with bath and over head shower. All bed linen is provided and I will make up the beds for your arrival. All you need are your own towels and a tea towel. I can provide a travel cot and highchair at no extra cost, please mention when booking. We do however ask you bring your own cot bedding. I must also mention that the cot is a tight fit in only the en-suite bedroom. It will not fit in the other bedrooms. Please consider this before booking. It can actually be put up in the walk in wardrobe of the ensuite room, which is like a very small room in itself. Tescos, Booths and Aldi are a short five minute drive into Carnforth, where you will also find plenty of take aways, pubs and restaurants all situated on one main street. You will need a car or taxi to get around unless you like long walks, Carnforth is a 5 minute drive but would be around a 25 minute walk. *** Please research the location before you book, you’re not in walking distance to places, you will need a car *** Postcode is LA6 1BH *** There is space outside the lodge for three cars and there is also a main car park by reception. I will be available by text or phone to help with anything you need to know whilst staying in my lodge. South Lakeland Leisure Village is just outside Carnforth, 20 minutes drive to Kendal (South Lake District) and 15 minute drive from Lancaster. Perfect location for fell walking, a gateway for the Lake District. Lakes for fishing. Peaceful and relaxing. Please do not book if you intend on playing loud music or having a party. This is a quiet residential park and noise will not be tolerated. No hot tub or outside patio use after 10.30 pm at night. A car is advised. The nearest supermarket is Booths or Aldi, both only a 5 minute drive from the lodge. Bars and restaurants in Carnforth are only a short taxi journey of around 5 mins but would be a long walk, maybe 25mins or so from the lodge on a straight road. Please research the location before you book, you’re not in walking distance to places, you will need a car *** Postcode is LA6 1BH *** Strictly pet free, not even small well behaved ones ;) 20 minute walk into Carnforth. 5 minute drive to Booths and Aldi. Access to the gym and pool is at an extra cost through the park, this can be booked when you arrive or in advance by calling the park directly. You will need to bring your own towels and a tea towel. The travel cot will only fit in the main en-suite bedroom, it is also a tight squeeze but doable. It’s just awkward to walk around whilst it’s up. Please consider this before you book. Or the other option is to have it in the lounge where there’s more open space. I have had guests put it up in the walk in wardrobe with the door open. It will not fit in the other two bedrooms. Please do not book if you intend on playing loud music or having a party. This is a quiet residential park and I'm very sorry but the park can remove you if any disturbances are caused. Please No hot tub or outside patio use after 10.30pm at night. We have neighbours. Check in after 4pm , checkout 10am or before.
