Converted barn, village setting, close to Bath

The Old Pump House is a beautifully renovated space with exposed beams and quirky mezzanine bedroom. It's adjacent to our Grade II listed cottage in the quiet, historic village of Langley Burrell. You'll be just 1.5 miles from Chippenham station (Paddington 60 mins), a 5 minute drive from the M4, Junction 17 (Bath 10 miles, Bristol 25). In the current climate we want to re-assure guests that we take pride in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene. As well as carrying out a deep clean, we also ensure that surfaces/handles etc. are wiped down with antibacterial solutions prior to arrival. A quiet countryside retreat with everything you need to relax and enjoy the surrounding area. The Old Pump House has a lounge, dining area, shower room (powerful shower) and kitchen with microwave and fridge/freezer (there are no other cooking facilities - just a microwave). Sleep in the eaves in a sumptuous king size bed (upstairs) with Egyptian cotton sheets, duck & down duvet/pillows with countryside views from the bed! Fast wireless internet. TV. There is also a private outside courtyard with table and chairs for guests to use. The Old Pump House is cosy and therefore perfect for one or two guests at a time. I'm afraid we cannot accept bookings of more than 2 people. The Old Pump House is located to the side of our house with its own entrance, parking and is self contained. There is a lockbox where you can collect the keys. For security each guest is provided with a unique code. I assume most guests would prefer a little privacy during their stay but am available and happy to provide any assistance to ensure your stay is as comfortable as possible. Check-in times are flexible. Access to countryside walks, the river Avon and plentiful places of interest in the surrounding area. The historic villages of Castle Combe (featured in the film War Horse) & Lacock (Harry Potter films) are close by. Bath is 10 mins by train or 15 miles by road. Bristol is 20 mins by train or 28 miles by road. the market towns of Chippenham (1.5 miles), Corsham (6 miles) & Malmesbury (8 miles) offer outdoor markets, shopping/places to eat & drink. We are happy to make recommendations for more great places to visit in the area. There is a lovely pub next door with real ales and great food (The Langley Tap). It is popular and so worth booking a table in advance. Whilst you can get a taxi to the property from Chippenham station (1.5 miles) it is advisable to come by car. This will enable you to make the most of local attractions. We are located 5 miles from the M4, under 1.5 miles from Chippenham station and 35 miles from Bristol Airport. Heathrow Airport is easily accessible along the M4 (75 mins away). For those that enjoy walking we have direct access to a network of footpaths/walks from the house.
