Comfortable cottage for two nr Argenton s/Creuse

This small cottage in its own space is perfect for two. Downstairs is a comfy sitting area and fully fitted kitchen. Upstairs is a double bedroom with ensuite shower room. Outside garden furniture and bbq give you all you need for a relaxing stay. Situated on the outskirts of a village, you are near but not on the river. As our guests you have access to the mill island for fishing or to mess about in the canoe. The house is comfortable and the garden is kept slightly rough around the edges to encourage wildlife. We also have three bantam hens who roam around. Guests have access to the mill island if they want to go fishing. We have a canoe which is shared with our other cottages as well as adult bikes. We live on site so one of us is usually on hand to point you in the direction of restaurants or places to see. We're happy to chat if you want or leave you to your own devices. The cottage is on the outskirts of a quiet village. There is a bread depot open in the mornings and a village shop open most days. We have two restaurants one at the end of the road (when not in lockdown),the other in the Chateau de Chabenet in the upper part of the village. Getting about by car is the best way as public transport is almost non existant. Cycling to Argenton or St Gaultier is possible. We live next door to the church and the bells ring at 7am, midday and 7pm. Some people never hear the 7am ones!
