This two bed-roomed ground floor apartment is set right on the seafront only a few minutes walk from Port Seton Harbour. Super close to supermarket and takeaway food but in a lovely peaceful spot, this great ground floor apartment has amazing direct views over the Forth estuary from both the living room and kitchen yet only 2 minutes walk from the shops. The apartment has been tastefully furnished and is fully equipped with everything you will need during your vacation - flat screen TV ( you can access Netflix by logging into your own account), Blu-ray Dvd Player, Wifi and a comfortable 3 seat sofa in the living room with separate fully fitted kitchen and dining table offset. Both bedrooms are fully furnished , comfortable and cosy . The master bedroom has a King size bed and the second bedroom has 2 comfortable full size bunk beds suitable for children and adults alike. The family bathroom has a WC, Basin and Bath with overhead shower. You can gain access from either the front via a communal entrance, where there is a private outdoor terrace/seating area and free parking space right outside the front door or from the private entrance at the rear of the property overlooking the Promenade which has a small fenced in area. Set in an ideallic location to relax and unwind with a variety of shops, the harbour and beaches, all within walking distance. Bus stop only 2 minutes walk away and handy for a visit to Edinburgh. Happy to assist with any enquiries. The village of Port Seton is co-joined to Cockenzie and is situated on the Southern shore of the Firth of Forth just 12 miles from Edinburgh. The apartment is in a great location to relax looking out over the Forth Estuary or walking or cycling along the John Muir Way foot path which passes the property along the promenade. East Lothian is a great place to explore with many traditional seaside villages like Aberlady, Gullane and North Berwick. There are nature reserves, leisure amenities and it is also famous for its golf courses and Sandy beaches. The village pub which also serves food is only a few minutes away and has an outdoor terrace should you wish to eat al fresco. There are great local amenities on your doorstep including a supermarket, butchers, cafe, fish and chip shops as well as Chinese and Thai takeaway and sit-in. In neighbouring Cockenzie, Cockenzie House and Gardens now houses over 40 studios for local artists and businesses and has a tea room with an indoor and outdoor seating area and well worth a visit. The apartment is within easy access to the Historic and Cultural centre of Edinburgh which boasts many historic monuments, the most famous being it’s castle but also home to the biggest Arts Festival which takes place every year in August, not to mention Edinburgh’s famous Military Tattoo and Hogmanay extravaganza. Port Seton is easily accessed from the A1 ( approx. 2 miles away ) . Edinburgh can be accessed by a bus from the main road ( bus stop only 2 minutes away ) and takes approx. 45 mins into Edinburgh and the train station to Edinburgh is 2 miles away (15 minutes into Edinburgh.).
