Includes kitchenette, ensuite, TV, bar fridge, microwave, electric hotplate, kettle, toaster. An intimate space, perfect for one, for those who want their own kitchenette & bathroom. Generally quiet & peaceful, set in a leafy garden. Designed for the traveller who packs light and is happy eating simple meals. The space is well suited for one roller bag only. If you're in Sydney sightseeing or on business and just want your own space to sleep and eat you will find the studio meets your needs. For those guests looking for somewhere to spend their days, you may find the studio too small for prolonged periods without an outing. Adjacent to our family backyard, there will be regular occasions where our 3 children, sometimes with friends over, will be playing and making noise. We encourage our children to play outside often. Please have a look at the photo showing the location of the studio in relation to our home and the dimentions of the room 2.7 x 2.6m The studio with kitchenette and ensuite plus mini courtyard with table & two chairs is for the exclusive use of the guest. The adjacent home and backyard is for our family use only. Please use the paving stones walkway behind the screen to enter the studio. We are a busy household of two working parents and three children. We have limited time but more than happy to have a chat. A family neighbourhood, with the quiet charm of a community, and a very easy commute into town. A well stocked IGA supermarket is located a 1 min walk from the studio. There is also a local cafe (Brew Ha Ha) (open 7am - 3pm Tues-Sun) a newsagent, a laundromat and a corner shop all within a 1 min walk. Your morning coffee fix & all you need to throw a meal together are only a few moments away. Cafes in walking distance: Pane E Cipolla - Orange Grove Plaza, Lilyfield The Local Press - Orange Grove Plaza, Lilyfield Other local cafes/restaurants we recommend are: Fish & Co - 41 Booth St, Annandale Bitton - 36-37A Copeland St, Alexandria Lilyfield Light Rail is a 2 min walk away. The Light Rail travels to Pyrmont, the Fish Markets, Star City Casino, Darking Harbour, Chinatown & Central. Currently the light rail is not operating and buses replace rail. A 470 bus stop with regular trips to Central, Town Hall, Wynyard, Circular Quay also a 2 min walk away, on Catherine St. The 437 bus stop gives easy access to the city. We are not far from the Inner West flight path so sadly there is some plane noise at times. Some people will notice it, others not. Thankfully the airport curfew means flights don't start until until 6am and finish at midnight. Our vegetable gardens also back onto the studio courtyard so we may cross the courtyard to garden and pick produce. There will be times of lawn mowing and backyard tidying where we will be adjacent to or in the studio courtyard in order to maintain it. For bookings longer than a fortnight, a regularly fortnightly clean is essential and charged at the check out cleaning rate. If you prefer to do this clean yourself, the necessary equipment will be made available to you.
