PAPA JOE'S APARTMENT

This apartment is the bottom floor of the Place where I live. It is set up as a self contained unit, with a queen bed in a spacious area, and a kitchen suitable for light cooking. Eating indoor or outdoor in an covered area, with a BBQ. The whole unit has just been newly set up. It offers a comfortable living with a modern bathroom, separate place for luggage and shoes. Prime-video and U Tube etc... It is in a quiet suburb at 18 klm from CBD Hobart. Cadbury, Mona, parks only few minutes away. It is a roomy and one floor apartment where a couple could move easily with three separate areas on offer, Sleeping, kitchen and outdoor. The hallway could also be used for storage. It has a Queen Bed, but we could manage a extra single bed if necessary ($15 extra per night) It is set up for convenience and comfort , whether it is for a eating on a dining table, or preparing food in the kitchen, or watching TV from different angles...and an outdoor setting complements the whole set up. The separate bathroom away from the living area enables guests to have their shower with outmost privacy. I don't think too many accommodations would be so generous in space... 2 car parking facilities are available, depending mainly on the size of the car. You can park in the driveway and walk down to the bottom floor, easy sloping area, or park the car in front of the Unit entrance. The entrance is through the bottom door, through a hallway to the unit. The door is exclusively or the guest so it could be locked when guests are out. Since I live on the premises, and I am retired, I will be available to the guests for any enquiry, I will help as much as possible and will be there to make the stay a very comfortable one. I am a very outgoing person. My main objective with the Listing on Airbnb is to meet people from different areas or countries and different back rounds and hopefully establish some connection for the future, if the guests are comfortable with the idea. Austins Ferry is a quiet reasonably new suburb. family orientated. A decent and quiet neighborhood. The unit is around 40 meters from the main Road, so very quiet. I own the unit next door and I have very respectful family tenants who have been here for 7 years. I know the people in all the other units around, and they are all quietly civilized occupants. Hobart is not a big city, it has a good but limited bus system. What I have noticed and concluded from the feed back I received from my guests so far, It would be cheaper to hire a car ( $50-70/ day) than to take a taxi from the airport ( $ 70-85 per trip). and since the rental of the Unit is not as expensive as some units closer to town, it will pay by itself for the car hire. Also to get around and discover Tasmania you need transport. Our bus system, although reasonably efficient is not very practical for those sorts of activities. Nonetheless I had few guests who had no car. I have enjoying helping in short trips around the area( Mona or shopping village..) The Village ( shopping center) is 3 minutes drive or 20 minutes walk. Should I be available, I could give a helping hand. Should you get stuck, may be I can lend a hand with transport, or negotiate a deal for longer trips. It is a quiet unit, with a lot of trees and greenery around, very serene atmosphere... your body and mind will be at peace. we offer a light breakfast ( cereals, toast..) and other basic nibblies. Should you like to stay at home, you can watch as many movies as you like on Prime-video or watch programs on U Tube or other apps. (Apple TV). A portable stove is available for outdoor light cooking... The whole unit is a miniature "Home away from Home"... and that's the feeling you will get. Try it.
