The Crab Shack ON THE RIVER!! Yankeetown, Fl

The Crab Shack, a 1955 cottage loaded with charm!! On the Withlacoochee River (not a canal), it is deep water access to the gulf. 2 bedrooms, one with a queen bed and the other with 2 twins that can also be used as a KING BED. Lovely kitchen with a bar and a river view. A sectional sofa and a lg smart tv. A large deck with seating, a floating dock with 2 benches (manatee!) , a table/chairs near the water, a boat house (bring your boat!). On a 1/2 acre, plenty of room to play! This is a charming 50s cottage on the Withlacoochee river. Yankeetown is old Florida at its best. You are within minutes of 3 marina’s and 5 minute walk to the Blackwater Grill, a wonderful seafood restaurant. Withlacoochee Gulf preserve and Gulf Hammock wildlife area borders this town. 12 miles to Crystal River and 3 sisters springs. Just a few more miles down the road to Homosassa, Chassahowitzka and Weeki Wachi. Silver Springs and Crystal river are just down the road. The Nature Coast. Miles of walking, hiking and kayaking trails. Very quiet and peaceful. Back yard has a deck, a floating dock, a boat house/slip and fish cleaning station..Lots of wildlife view’s. I'm usually nearby, the smart lock lets you in. I'm quick to respond to questions. Yankeetown is a charming, safe, quaint town with tree-lined streets. It's a quiet and relaxing place to unwind, go kayaking, fishing, sightseeing with a guide on the river... Close to lots of springs, rivers, THE GULF!! deep water access. Dunnellon is known for antique/thrift shops and is close by. Crystal River, Cedar Key, Steinhatchee, Goethe Forest, Homosassa, The Nature Coast is SO beautiful!!! B’s Marina, just down the block, often has live music and a food truck on the weekends. Easy walking on the beautiful mossy oak tree lined street. There's a nice restaurant (Blackwater Bar and Grill) a few houses to the East and a marina/ bar (B's Marina) a few houses to the West with live music (often) and beer! What perfect placement! I have one bicycle (in the process of getting another one). I have 2 sit-on-top kayaks on the property for your use. I have a binder with house idiosyncrasies.. helpful info.
