Bright spacious first floor apartment with private entrance. With 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms it comfortably sleeps 4/5 people. Based within 5 to 10 minutes walk of Tramore's famous 5km beach and other resort amenitites incl. Splashworld. With playgrounds, basketball and tennis courts on site there is plenty to keep the whole family occupied. Bed linen provided. Guests will need to bring their own towels. The main living area consists of well equipped kitchen including a washing machine and dishwasher; a dining area and a spacious sitting room with TV and stove. The master bedroom has double bed with ensuite. Bedroom 2 has a 2 single beds. A small camp bed is also available if required. Both bedrooms have fitted wardrobes. The main bathroom also has a bath as well as shower. There is a wood Stove and electric heating with double glazed windows throughout the apartment. Recently refurbished, the living room and bedrooms have been upgraded with A++ insulation. Other things to note:- Bed Linen is provided. Don't forget to bring towels. The apartment is ideally located for a action packed holiday in Tramore. Located just 6 minutes walk to Splashworld, with 25 meter pool, slides, lazy river and kids play area. Splashworld is located at the beginning of promenade with a vast array of shops, entertainment and amusement park. Just around the corner the Park boasts a large inclusion playground. Voted one of Ireland’s 50 best playgrounds in 2017 it offers more than 20 pieces of equipment, including a wheelchair-accessible swing. It is set around the central attraction of a spectacular wooden shipwreck. Equipment is built in sustainable timber and includes a rope ladder and crow’s nest, two ziplines, and a network of tunnels, slides, swings and basket swings. The main street of Tramore is a short walk up the hill where you will find more restaurants, pubs, artisan bakery, boutiques, pharmacies and lots of other shops. Aldi is a 400 meter walk away. You will also find the SuperValu supermarket in main street; and there is also a Lidl and Tesco up further past the church, but a car would be advised to get to them. Tramore has a beautiful blue flag beach and is a well renowned surf spot. Surfing lessons are available on the prom for water enthuasists, and boards and equipment also available for hire. Just a short trip into Waterford City and you can take a bike ride on Waterford's fantastic Greenway with amazing scenery and some historical sites. If you're feeling very energetic you can cycle all the way to Dungarvan and back, but its 46km each way to make sure to bring lots of snacks and water; or make some pits stops at the restuarants/cafes or pubs on the way down!! For a change of scenery visit the Viking Triangle in Ireland's oldest city, Waterford, a short 20 minute drive from Tramore. Or have a look around Ireland's most famous export, Waterford Crystal, and expierence spectacular pieces being created right in front of you. There is a regular bus service into Waterford City and connecting buses and trains to other counties in Ireland. The bus station is approximately 7/8 minutes walk to the apartment. Many of the bus companies leaving from Dublin, Carlow etc. will have Tramore as their last stop so be sure to check the timetables if you're catching the bus to avoid a connection in Waterford. There is also various taxi companies around the town.
