Jasmine Cottage - Sleeps 3. Near Crantock. Parking

Jasmine Cottage (sleeps 3) is a beautiful 300 year old cottage in the hamlet of Treworgans, Cubert. It is perfect place to relax and unwind being down a quiet country lane with no traffic noise. It is a mile away from the stunning National Trust beaches of Crantock and Holywell bay and 4 miles from Newquay. There are great walks from right outside the front door. Activities such as surfing, coast steering and SUP are within easy reach at the local beaches. Jasmine Cottage is a traditional Cornwall cottage with a charming inglenook fire place and period features. The sleeping arrangements are one large double bedroom upstairs and a sofa bed downstairs. There is plenty of storage for your holiday clothes. There is ample space to fit a small cot in the bedroom if you have a little one. We have a cot, highchair and stair gates available for young children (booking required). Bed linen and towels are also included. The master bedroom has an ensuite bathroom. Downstairs there is an open plan with a lounge with TV, sofa bed, small kitchen and dining area. There is a well equipped kitchen with fridge, cooker, microwave, toaster and kettle. Jasmine cottage has its own entrance and outside there is a small seating area for you to enjoy a cup of tea or glass of wine as you watch the sunset. There is gas central heating Jasmine cottage is part of Treworgans Cottages, comprising of three properties, Bramley Cottage which is very similar to Jasmine cottage and accommodates three guests, plus 'Paddocks View' which accommodates five guests in one double bed and three single beds. Treworgans Cottages can either be booked separately or as a whole and can sleep up to eleven guests. We find that this makes Treworgans Cottages ideal for families or groups of friends. Treworgans Cottages has ample parking on site for guests. Treworgans Cottages are ideally situated for exploring Cornwall. As mentioned above we are a few minutes drive from the absolutely stunning National Trust beaches of Crantock and Holywell Bay and about 10 minutes drive from the tourist hub of Newquay. There are a number of great restaurants in all these locations and we will provide an information pack which includes details of our current favorite places to eat. All of the local beaches are surf beaches and the majority are life guarded in the summer months making them a good choice for families. Alongside the beaches, Newquay has a variety of things to do such as Newquay Zoo, Newquay Aquarium, cinema and Waterworld swimming pool. Treworgans Cottages are situated between the popular towns of Padstow and St Ives which are approximately 35-40 minutes drive in either direction. There is plenty of free parking on site in our private car park. There is a bus stop a 2 minute walk away which provides a service to the local area and further afield. If you don't want to get in the car there are lots of beautiful walks from the doorstep including a walk across the National Trust land of Cubert Common where skylarks can be spotted in the summer. We live onsite and are available for any queries or questions during your stay. Check in is between 5pm and 8pm. We will check you in when you arrive or if you are arriving late you can let yourselves in using the secure lock box. Jasmine Cottage is located in a small Hamlet called Treworgans. It is a beautiful quiet countryside location with the advantage of being only 1 mile from the beach. It is absolutely ideally situated to explore Cornwall and the local beaches are stunning. In the village there is a little village shop, gorgeous bakery (get there early for hot pasties), a fish and chip shop. The Smugglers Den pub serves delicious food and is located a five minute drive or 30 minute walk away. The nearest supermarket is a 10 minute drive. At Treworgans Cottages we welcome you to have a food home delivery. Upon booking we will provide a guide for you of our favourite beaches and places to go for coffee and food. There is free parking on site. The easiest way to explore the local area is by car however there is also a public bus service. There is fantastic walks around the area and the South West Coast Path can be reached in around 30 minutes via the National Trust land of Cubert Common.
