Are you a slow traveler? do you like to walk, climb? here you are, this is the right place for you! this BNB is called Contrada Lunga, I'm Annalisa, nice to meet you! I live here with my husband Luca and our 2 teenagers Filippo & Michelangelo, we have 3 cats and we are a typical italian family, i'm a photographer and fashion designer, into my small atelier, you'll find handmade clothes and accessories! Welcome at our B&B Contrada Lunga, located in the magnificent medieval pedestrian village of Linzanico, tiny hamlet 1 km over Abbadia Lariana, 5 minutes far from lake shore and 15 min. by car far from Varenna. We are travelers like you and we are always curious to discover hidden places, traditional houses and true people. The BNB Contrada Lunga is an old house dating back to 1600, the original chestnut wood door opens into the beautiful courtyard paved with stone: flowers, table, (Website hidden by Airbnb) have breakfast, appetizer, small talk together...reading. BREAKFAST The organic breakfast is served on a covered balcony: single large table allows all our guests to meet one another. A large bookshelf stocked with all informations needed to excursions and activities of Lake Como and the surrounding area. BEDROOMS Our rooms, are spacious, cool and quiet, with a window and a fan, wooden floors and ceilings. Books for everybody! We like simplicity, vintage furniture and objects that have a history, each room tells a story of our travels and passions. The special MINI-SUITE consists of a double room connected with a quadruple room with private bathroom, it will be the perfect solution for your large family (sleeps up to 7). Each room has a private bathroom paved with stone from neighboring valleys, sink, shower, towels, shampoo, shower gel, hair dryer and MAKE-UP CLEANSING :))) Internet connection but no TV. KITCHEN A small equipped kitchen will resolve meals for children. Pets welcome! WE LOVE... ORGANIC ICE CREAM gelateria "Lo scalino", Abbadia Lariana. Silk museum "SETIFICIO MONTI" with the original silk wood twister, guided tours, Abbadia Lariana. 40 minutes to reach the WATERFALL, a suggestive place to refresh yourself and if you are brave...jump into the water, Linzanico. FALESIE and GRUPPO DELLE GRIGNE for climbers: 30 min. on foot from the BNB. SENTIERO DEL VIANDANTE LA PUNTA, Abbadia Lariana, the best beach of the lake to admire mountains lake, looking at LECCO: Amazing! MOTO GUZZI museum, Mandello del Lario. Daily lake-cruise. THE BEST FAMOUS PLACES Varenna (my favorite) 15 min. by car, Bellagio, Menaggio, Como, Bergamo, Milano. LAKE VILLAS: villa Balbianello my favorite, villa Monastero (Varenna), villa Carlotta (Cadenabbia). Como, Bergamo, Milano. HOW TO REACH US By car: Abbadia Lariana, up to Linzanico and let the car on the main road, reach the B&B on foot ( 30 mt.). by train: from milano Centrale direction to SONDRIO/TIRANO stop in Abbadia Lariana or Mandello del Lario.
