The Old Cellar Door - Lawson Hill Estate

The Old Cellar Door features a large, open and comfortable living space right in the heart of the Eurunderee vineyards. The guesthouse was converted from the original cellar door and contains 3 bedrooms, open kitchen/living/dining area, 1.5 bathrooms and laundry. The covered veranda provides the perfect spot to enjoy the beautiful views across the valley and neighbouring vineyards. World class cellar doors and restaurants are all right at your door step. All bedrooms have queensize beds, Reverse cycle wall units and TVs. The kitchen is fully appointed for a self contained stay. The open plan living areas have Reverse cycle wall units with the main living room having a large wood fire to keep you cosy on winter nights. The bathroom has shower, vanity and toilet, with a 2nd toilet in the laundry along with washing machine and tub. There is a carport for 3 cars, and the yard is fully fenced. Please note this property can also be booked as Old Cellar Door plus 1 which offers you an extra bedroom and bathroom. The firepit and indoor fire are available from 1 April until 1 October due to Rural Fire Regulations. We have a no pets, no wifi and a no smoking policy across the property. ++Update; No Jab, no stay. Proof of double vax required prior to stay.++ The "Old Cellar Door" is fully self contained with entry details provided a few days before checkin. We live on the same rural property, approx 150m away but all buildings are completely private and out of the eyesight from each other. The Old Cellar Door is located right in the middle of the world class Mudgee vineyards. The elevated property faces south west providing uninterrupted views across the vineyards and spectacular sunsets complete with the twinkling lights on Mudgee town. A car is needed to visit the vineyards. However keen walkers can walk the easy 1.5km to Bunnamagoo Wines. There are plenty of walking tracks on our 150 acres, and we encourage our guests to explore.
