The open plan kitchen family lounge is a sociable space - enjoy time cooking together , playing on the Wii ( bring nunchucks and games) Scrabble Articulate or one of the jigsaws supplied for your enjoyment. Open log fire in the adults only lounge. Bike storage available. Pick a book from the bookcase and snuggle up with your book in the sunny conservatory. Wild Winds has space for family and friends to socialise together and sofas in three different rooms when quiet time apart is sought - great for the occasions when work intrudes on holiday time. An additional bedroom is available in the peak weeks - additional costs apply- when larger groups tend to be travelling. Can sleep 7 in four bedrooms. Winds enjoys a high level of repeat bookers. It has been welcoming guests for over a decade. Parking on site for 3 cars and boat trailer A guest information pack will be emailed to guests before they arrive and I'm available by email and phone to assist. It contains contact details for lots of different activities (eg Oakwood theme park, coastal foraging and horse riding) and for the local bakery, restaurants and pubs. With Covid, I know some guests prefer to book ahead of their stay. The info pack also explains practical matters such as recycling and how to use appliances. Cleaning requirement and costs have increased as result of Covid and we've introduced a damages and cleaning deposit as a result. The Castle and St Brides are in walking distance in the village. They are very popular with guests. Cornerhouse Cafe and Lobster and Mor serve baguette and rolls -great for a picnic on the seafront. Little Haven is small village bursting with character , yet tranquil and family friendly. Many families return yer in year out. Neighbouring BroadHaven has grocery post office and more food options. It also has surf hire and tuition .Riding lessons available in nearby Nolton haven. The market town of Haverfordwest has a farmers market, Aldi Lidl Tesco Morrisons Boots and M&S. Pembrokeshire Coastal path runs alongside Wild Winds and is very popular with guests - the views along the coast are stunning. OS maps and guide books are left in Wild Winds for guests use. The embarkation point for Skomer ( puffin island) is a short drive away. The Puffin Shuttle bus offers a hail and ride service-great if you run out of steam on your walk and want a ride home.
