Located less than 2 hours from NYC, and close to local ski resorts, our home is ideally situated to explore all that upstate NY has to offer. This is our family's home away from home! We have set it up to make sure that you have the most comfortable stay possible. Have a morning coffee on our front porch rocking chairs, cook breakfast in our fully equipped kitchen, enjoy a Netflix binge on our giant L-Shaped couch and enjoy dinner surrounded by the trees in our sun-room dining area! We also have a backyard fire-pit, Adirondack chairs and fairy lights, perfect for making S'mores! Catch a concert at Bethel Woods, explore the nearby Deleware Water Gap and quaint upstate towns and the numerous dining, shopping and adventure opportunities they offer. Our home is perfectly located for year round getaways! Take in the views from the Hawk's Nest vista point, visit the Woodstock Museum at nearby Bethel Woods, visit local wineries and breweries or hit the slopes just across the river at Ski Big Bear Masthope Mountain.! Our bedrooms are built for comfort, with new memory foam mattresses and cozy bedding. We also have a pack and play crib, child's bed and a selection of children's toys, making for a family friendly environment. Stay a while! With washer/dryer, ultra speed broadband and fully equipped kitchen, our home is perfect for extended stays and remote work getaways. This is a private home. Guests will have full access to all areas of the home. The basement is unlocked but should not be accessed by guests. Car garage is locked but access can be granted if requested. Our home is located on a quiet country road surrounded by woodland. The towns of Barryville and Eldred are within a 2 minute drive, offering dining and bar options, general stores, a weekend Farmer's Market and launch points for all Delaware River water activities. There are also hiking trails, children's playgrounds and sports fields within a few minutes drive. Our home is less than 20 minutes from Bethel Woods Center For The Arts, Big Bear Skiing and Lake Superior. The towns of Narrowsburg, Hawley and numerous others are within a 20 min drive, offering a plethora of options for food & drink, outdoor activities, historic areas and fun activities for kids. We also have a covered parking garage which can be requested during winter months. The home is located in a rural setting. It is recommended that you bring a car to explore the area fully. The roads in the area are quite hilly. In winter months you may consider driving a 4x4 to help navigate snowy roads. Wildlife- Our home is surrounded by woodland. You may encounter deer, squirrels and even the occasional small bear! Please enjoy enjoy observing the animals from afar and please do not feed.
