Beautiful quiet artist retreat set within a historic one room Schoolhouse from 1867... original windows and spruce wood floors throughout... comfy king size bed... rustic and exquisite with pressed tin ceilings and walls.. Location is perfect... close to everything the west coast of Wisconsin has to offer! Maiden Rock Cidery, A to Z Pizza Farm, Pepin Marina, Art Galleries of Stockholm Village, Villa Belleza Vineyards, Liberty Tree Farm, Nelson Creamery.... this area has so much to offer! Entire main floor of beautiful one room Schoolhouse... with fully functional kitchenette, full bath, laundry... I am in town 25 percent of the year and occupy the basement art studio apartment. I have my own entrance and it’s separate from the bnb and guest access. Inquire before you book if you would like to know if I’ll be around. Arrangements can be made ahead of time but may require additional small fee. Lots of options regarding seclusion and privacy. I am always available through texting or messaging... if I’m out of town I will have a trusted local friend nearby for anything urgent that may arise... Beautiful sunsets, amazing river road galleries and restaurants, hiking trails, breweries, vineyards, berry picking, Snow mobile trails, cross country skiing, snowshoeing, pizza farm, live music, yoga, award winning bakeries, Laura Ingalls Wilder museum and house, Eagles, fall colors, wedding venues... Car, bike, horse, snow mobile, roller skates, walking, motorcycle, boat We clean constantly and love keeping our guests happy... please note ladybugs can get in through the cracks during fall and spring... they are harmless... also the building has hard water and mineral deposits can dry on the dishes after they have been washed... this place has a rustic undertone... a country farm land feel.
