Are you looking for somewhere to stay long term? RELAX and enjoy this home away from home with your own spacious room in Bardon, about 10 mins on a direct bus to Brisbane CBD. There's a bus stop 20 metres away, cafe, park across the road and you are nearby a hot yoga studio, tennis courts, a gym, bush walking, bird watching and bike paths to the city. It's a relaxed 'greenie' kinda suburb. Your room has a super comfy Queen bed. There is a writing desk and plenty of space to hang or store clothes. Bed linen & towels are provided and there is also a self contained laundry with dryer and ironing facilities downstairs. The house has a share bathroom (cleaned daily) and a great kitchen (self-clean) with everything you need. There’s more storage available downstairs and a shaded, off-street car parking space available. We are on the 375 bus line (Stop 20) through Paddington which has trendy shops and cafes to explore. The bus continues to the city and Fortitude Valley. There's always a natural breeze as our aspect is quite high. There's a peaceful outlook from the hammock on the veranda. This is a TV free space. We prefer music, reading and conversation, but Netflix is available if you have your own technology. Enjoy a comfy dining area and lounge. You're also welcome to work out with the gym equipment downstairs. Gym use, washing machine, electricity and hot water is included. WiFi (excluding excessive downloads) is included. We are a stone's throw away from the local cafe, op shop and second hand bookstore. There's a beautiful park and creek across the road and you are nearby a hot yoga studio, tennis courts, a gym, bush walking and bike paths to the city. There's markets on the weekend in Bardon and plenty of others in surrounding suburbs. A small supermarket is just up the road at the Bardon shops (cafes, 7-Eleven etc) and a major supermarket is on the bus line in Paddo. Local Bardon restaurants offer a choice of Persian, French, Himalayan and Brazilian cuisine. Paddington's alfresco dining is abundant. We are on the bus line through Paddington which has trendy shops and cafes to explore. The 375 bus continues to the city and Fortitude Valley. The 385 bus goes directly to GOMA, the Art Gallery and Southbank precinct. It's really easy to get about on public transport from here. You will be sharing with a mumma and FIFO (fly in fly out) hubby and their primary school-aged child. We are early to bed but not too early to rise. We're out and about most weekends. We lead a healthy lifestyle with a love of all things natural.
