In city centre of historical Amersfoort. Close to Utrecht (14 min.) and Amsterdam (35 min.). 15 minutes from train station by foot. We are a hotel with 25 different rooms and 6 apartments. Please read further information for our prices. For groups we have special prices. *please note the mentioned price is per night for cheapest room with shared bathroom. We have also other rooms available from 80 to 145 euro per night. Prices are based on max. two (2) persons per room. So 4 people need 2 rooms, 8 people need 4 rooms and so on. Hotel de Tabaksplant is located in several historic buildings in the age-old centre of Amersfoort. A unique and charming hotel with a city garden. De Tabaksplant has 25 comfortable rooms, each with a distinctive character, 5 fully equipped apartments, for guests who would like to stay with us for a longer period of time, and 2 conference rooms. The Hotel "Tobacco Plant "in Amersfoort includes several historic buildings in the city, located in the Coninckstraat 13, 15, 17 and 19 In the Coninckstraat 15 is a beautiful monumental semi-detached house. It was built in between 1600 and 1650 by the owner of a tobacco plantation. This story gave the hotel the traditional name of "de tobacco plant" (translated: Tobacco plant). The building is in the 17 Century, a new front end get (a so-called "Haarlemse lijstgevel") and has the status of a national monument. The corridors of the house are decorated with beautiful tiles. The property is also fully restored. In the Coninckstraat 13 was probably built around 1670 a simple house, but with a distinctive facade. It was renovated in 1999. In the Coninckstraat 17 is a new building. It was built in 2004. With the beautiful stucco facade and the beautiful detail trade it fits very well with the monumental facade of the adjacent building. With the number 19 is followed by a beautiful gazebo. Behind these buildings is a beautiful, secluded garden extends with several terraces, a gem from the early Middle Ages and a real meeting place and place of rest. Our lovely garden is open for all guests to have a drink, smoke a cigarette or just relax with a book or so. We are located in the medieval city centre of Amersfoort. There are plenty restaurants, bars and take aways around us. Amersfoort is easy to reach by car and train. You can take a taxi, bus or walk from the station to our hotel it's only 20 min. When you arrive by car you can park in parking Flintplein, only 3 minutes walk from our hotel. Please note that our reception closes at 22:30. If you expect to arrive late, please inform us upfront and we will make arrangements to welcome you.
