You will encounter some vacant homes and blight in the area. This home was one of them, but we revived it. You will see people out and about, walking around, playing music and socializing, but it is a friendly neighborhood. All guests have had a safe experience here. We haven't had a single incident of crime since we bought the home in May of 2018. Outside of the walkable amenities, a quick bike ride or drive will get you to parks on the Detroit River as well as Detroit River Sports for kayaking and canoeing! Also, The Historic Jefferson Chalmers Business District with shops and the notable new Caribbean restaurant Norma G’s is just around the corner. Ability to walk to nearby attractions as well as biking, driving, and Lyft or Uber.
