Monterey Dunes Oceanfront Beach House

The Monterey Dunes Colony is a picturesque gated community on the beach sitting between Monterey and Santa Cruz. This house features 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms with a beautiful ocean view and private beach access. The Master, main living area, and kitchen have beautiful views of the Pacific Ocean. You can watch dolphins and whales from the comfort of the kitchen table. Beautiful sunsets are a daily occurrence. This house is great for a large family or 2 smaller families. You have the entire house and also get to take advantage of the gated community amenities including the pool and hot tub. It's one story with vaulted ceilings in the main living area with lots of windows to take advantage of the ocean view. There are 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The master has a king bed and a beautiful ocean view with an attached full bathroom with a shower. There is a patio just outside the master. One of the guest rooms has a queen bed. The other guest room has 3 twin beds and pack and play available as well. A full bathroom with a shower tub combo which is great for young children is available for the 2 guest rooms to share. The kitchen is stocked with dishes, glasses, utensils, pots, and pans etc. We also supply basic spices and baking supplies. There is a large refrigerator/freezer, dishwasher, garbage disposal, stove, oven, microwave, coffee maker, Keurig, toaster, waffle maker, We also have full sized washer and dryer. There is a 55 inch Smart TV in the main living area and 40 inch TV in the Master with satellite TV. We have Wifi set up, but because of location of the house on the Dunes, during busy season it can be spotty at times. The community has a pool which is open April to October and also tennis courts, basketball hoop, bocce ball and golf nets. We can only host 7 people at one time INCLUDING INFANTS (even though Airbnb does not count them in the guest count), the HOA has very strict rules. We get fined $150/night per person over 7. Also no smoking will be tolerated. While we love pets we cannot allow people to bring there own animals as the HOA does not allow it. The cost per night includes $29/night paid to Monterey Dunes Colony HOA. You will have access to the whole house. You will also be able to use the gated community pool and hot tub when they are open as well as the tennis courts, basketball net, bocce ball, and golf mats/nets We will be available to contact through text and email during your stay. This townhouse is located in a quiet gated community with a 20 min drive to Monterey, 25 min to Pebble Beach, and 35 min drive to Santa Cruz. There are wonderful activities for kids such as the Monterey Bay Aquarium or Gilroy Gardens. Nearby things you can do include learning to surf, kayaking, go whale watching, and ride horses on the beach. Can't forget about the world class golf in Monterey! On the community property there are tennis courts, basketball courts, pool, jacuzzi, Bocce ball, and a net for hitting golf balls. There is 1 dedicated parking spot for the unit plus a couple guest spaces that are shared with other units. There are several available guest spaces up at the clubhouse which is about a 10 min walk from the unit through the gated community. Your own car is the best way to get around the area. The Monterey Dunes Colony is surrounded by farm fields and the Pacific Ocean. Local grocery stores are a few minutes away and there are many stores and a great shopping center just down the freeway in Marina, CA. There are local farmer's markets as well as a famous sea food restaurant, Phil's Seafood market. There is also The Whole Enchilada which even has live music sometimes. The maximum number of guests is 7 including children under 2 years old (even though Airbnb does not count them) and our HOA is very strict and will count each person entering. Please do not book for more than 7 total including infants. We do have security cameras on the outside of the home. No cameras inside the home.
