Valsti Retreat

Set on 8 acres, 8km south of Nowra. We are in a rural area, a perfect place to relax after a busy day exploring the local beaches, bush walks, cafes, restaurants and wineries. A cosy, and very private retreat. Sit poolside during the balmy summer days and evenings. Enjoy the peace and quiet, taking in the views of the rollings paddocks and bush land. Valsti Retreat is like a home, away from home. A great space to relax or use as a stopover whilst travelling between Sydney and Melbourne, for a work stay if working in the region and only 15 minutes drive from beautiful Huskisson and the white beaches of Jervis Bay & Booderee National Park. In the warmer months, feel free to use the in-ground pool. Guests also have access to a large outdoor BBQ. We will try and provide any other facilities our guests may need. Our property is located away from any townships and public transport is not available, only a taxi service. You will definitely require your own transport. We are available in person or via phone to answer any questions you may have. Our house is set on 8 acres, so our neighbours are quite a distance away. This provides a very quiet place to stay. The main noise you will hear are the local birds. Public transport around our property is very limited. There is an occasional bus service and a timetable is available upon request. The nearest train station is Bomaderry, approximately 15km away and is around $40 in a taxi. UBER is not yet available in the Shoalhaven area. We have two very friendly dogs that will often greet our guests. Our retired greyhound, Holly and a Beagle, Jarrah who tends to bark for new arrivals but settles down quickly. The dogs are in a separate yard. We also have a few sheep, chickens and goats- they don't greet our guests and don't cause any problems.
