2 The Oaks is a beautiful 19th century semi-detached sandstone cottage, situated in a very quiet rural location between Hereford and Ross-on-Wye, both seven miles away. The cottage is a mile from the village of Hoarwithy which has a brilliant local pub, The New Harp Inn, situated next to the River Wye, which serves excellent food and local beers and also houses a small convenience shop. This is a wonderful walking location with direct access to footpaths from the garden. Cycling can also be enjoyed by following the many bridleways and tracks in the area. Ground Floor: Kitchen Large open kitchen with underfloor heating, electric oven with halogen hob, fridge, freezer, microwave and dishwasher. French doors open out onto the patio area. Archway through to dining area. Utility room With a washing machine and tumble dryer. Dining room With table and seating for up to six guests. Sitting room With a wood burning stove on slate hearth, large flatscreen television, DVD/CD player and DAB radio. Cloakroom With wash basin and WC. First Floor: Master bedroom With a 4'6 double bed. Bedroom two With twin 3' single zip and link beds (can be joined to make a 6' super-king size bed upon request). Bathroom With a bath and overhead shower, wash basin and WC. Outside: Fully enclosed, large garden with patio, garden furniture and barbecue. On-site parking. Additional Information: Electric central heating. Access road to the property is unsuitable for low cars. The property has some steep steps and low headroom. Please ensure children are supervised outside due to steep slopes, walls and steps. Barbecue provided. Please leave the barbecue in the condition you would wish to find it. Thank you in advance. Fireworks are strictly not allowed due to the livestock nearby.
