If you like exploring the outdoors Culvardie Cottage in the heart of Nethy Bridge is perfect. Ideally situated in the Cairngorms National Park and on the edge of the Caledonian Pine Forest, newly renovated Culvardie Cottage is the perfect Highland Getaway for all ages. A traditional yet modern property with three bedrooms, Culvardie Cottage offers amazing walks, cycling, wild swimming and wildlife all from the cottage door. Perfectly located for all ages all year round to escape from it all. Warmed with a log burner, the cottage is cosy and provides comfortable accommodation for 6 people and a well behaved dog is welcome too! The largest bedroom also has a comfy snug area which offers another space for relaxing during your stay or for the kids to have some more space. Outside you can watch the world go by relaxing in the outdoor eating area with BBQ and firepit. And along with the many birds you will see in the garden you might even spot a Red Squirrel or two coming to visit. Our family all live in the village and our father lives next door so on hand should you require assistance. And we are always contactable by email or mobile. Rogey is our father's friendly neighbourhoodwatch dog. If you like dogs he will keep an eye out and perhaps come for a garden visit, if however you do not like dogs then perhaps this isn't the property for you. Within walking distance is a selection of great food offerings both for home delivery and eating in. Enjoy Nethy House's amazing home baking and coffee through the day, while in the evening you can enjoy a bar meal at the Nethy Hotel or some fine dining at Mountview Hotel. Or if you fancy dining in the comforts of the cottage our friends at the Dell of Abernethy offer delicious ready made meals delivered to the door. Within the village there is also a local shop, fantastic Butcher, Golf Club and Tennis Courts. And if you happy jumping in your car within a few miles the list is endless... amazing wild swimming, Watersports, the Cairngorm Mountains, Glenlivet Bike Trails, RSPB Loch Garten, the Strathspey Steam Railway, Landmark, Kincraig Wildlife Park and so much more!! We love walking and biking and have a list of routes and trails whether short or long and for all ages!
