Our homely countryside guest house "Capanna Margherita" of Petritoli at the end of the lane. It is surrounded by a huge garden and a lot of nature. You'll find everything you need in the house. A bottle of our homemade organic "Rosso Piceno" wine is waiting for you. If you wish we do the first shopping for you (without any extra costs). It is 20 mins to the beaches and 40 mins to the Sibilline Mountains. Therefore it is ideal for people who just want to relax. It is also ideal for families with up to 3 children, because everything is on the ground level. It is ideal for people with dogs too, because they may run undisturbed through the surrounding fields. Our guests have the huge garden exclusively for themselves. The closest neighbour, who grows wine, lives 100 m before the "Capanna". The centre of Petritoli is 1.5 km away. House and garden are surrounded by olive groves, organic vineyards, meadows and trees. The view goes on one side to the small medieval town of Petritoli and on the other side over the rolling hills of Le Marche up to the (in winter snow covered) mountains. In the evening you may observe fireflies and wonderful sunsets. Our guests have access to the whole house and garden. There are no restrictions. The private car park is close and on one level with the entrance so that the house and the garden are also suitable for people who can't walk so well. As we live 150m further down the lane, we love to help our guests if needed, but we also respect your complete privacy. We always like to give tips for restaurants etc. and also help with reservations. Never hesitate to ask or just send a message. In the neighborhood of PETRITOLI there are innumerable other picturesque medieval places, castles and towns. Excursions: Historical towns like FERMO famous for it's Roman cisterns and the cathedral on top of the hill MACERATA famous for it's opera-sferisterio LORETO - pilgrimage place and cathedral with the black madonna RECANATI - famous for the poet Giacomo Leopardi URBINO - birth place of the painter Raphael ASCOLI PICENO the white travertine town with some of the mos beautiful squares of Italy THE ADRIATIC SEA is not far. The closest beach is in Marina di Altidona. We also recommend our guests to go to Porto San Giorgion, Grottamare, San Benedetto and up to the in-beaches like Numana, Sirolo and Portonovo at Mount Conero. OUTLETS On rainy days we suggest to go to the nearby outlets of Todds, Prada etc. We recommend our guests to come by car, as the public transport is very restricted. A car park is just in front of the cottage. Airports are in Ancona, Pescara, Bologna and Rome.
