Cozy and charming apartment in "Allgäu"!

Charming apartment for up to 4 persons in an 280 year old original farmhouse in the "Allgäu" region of Bavaria. You are welcome to stay in our renovated barn on two floors, a lovely and authentic space. We renovated with great care with mostly eco-friendly materials. Our small village is in the Prealps Valley, a perfect region for outdoor activities (biking/hiking/swimming) as well as cultural sightseeing (Castles, Churches Baroque/Rococo). We are at the door step of many possibilities that can make your stay just perfect! For outdoors lovers, there is more than 1500 km of bike paths in the area. Within 30 to 45 minutes drive you can reach the Allgäu Alps region with hiking paths to many beautiful summits or enjoy a cable-car ride to the top! Enjoy a swim in clear blue and turquoise mountain lakes and rivers near Füssen or Lindau. The area is known as well for her many churches and monasteries of the Baroque & Rococo architecture. Throughout the year there are many different customs events, festivals and handcrafts market to visit en get to know better the life of the people of Bavaria. We will be happy to share and help during your stay. From cultural information, finding the perfect bike tour or simply where to enjoy the beauty fo the Alps, to where is the next Organic Market as we are both vegetarian we have some good adresses to share. "Les Deux Marie" stands at the end of the village on the main road to next villages like Bissenhofen or Marktoberdorf. In our direct neighborhood there is a small farmhouse with horses, close by is a farm with cows where you can buy milk, also our front neighbors has chickens and others "2 legged" neighbors as well. (cats, dogs and humans) :) The main street has some traffics in the morning and evening but usually it is a calm area. We have a big garden that is very green and there is plenty of flowers to enjoy the view. There is a small train station in Ebenhofen (our village) and it can take you directly to Munich, Augsburg or to Füssen to the famous Castle "Neuschwanstein", in the other direction. Many other interesting and beautiful places are easily reachable as well.
