MaarZauber - enchanting Eifel - near Nürburgring

Restored with love... Enjoy a leap into the cold Maar (30m), a sundown at the castle (80 m), hiking, cycling or visit the famous Nürburgring (18 km). The house joins old with modern and offers 110 m² with a big kitchen/dining room with balcony, a cosy living room with 2 convenient bed couches, one sleeping room with double bed and bathroom, one sleeping room with 4 single beds and a second bath downstairs. The old barn, situated in the historical heart of the village between the castle and the lake (Maar), has been lovingly renovated. MaarZauber combines tradition with comfort and openness. Massive oak doors, wooden stairs, broken stone walls and round arches convey the feeling of staying right in the castle. Nevertheless, you can enjoy the comforts of the 21st century, such as modern bathrooms, glass sliding doors and a generous open kitchen in MaarZauber. With its peculiarities and loving details, the former barn has become a place of well-being in the heart of the Eifel. Our desire is that our guests feel immediately after opening the door as at home. This includes of course also bed linen and towels. We look forward to getting to know our guests and therefore prefer the personal welcome (German, English or French). If there is a problem during the stay, we are reachable by telephone and usually on the spot, because we live in Ulmen. In the house you find an information brochure with all important addresses, leisure and shopping possibilities. Please note: Adjacent to the apartment is the hypnosis practice of my wife Sandra Michels, naturopath for psychotherapy. Access to the practice is in the courtyard. The practice is not used regularly and is a separate part of the building. In the apartment you are completely undisturbed. If desired, you can also book seminars or hikings of the Hypnosepraxis. The town of Ulmen with its approximately 3200 inhabitants lies between Koblenz and Trier, directly on the A48 and is therefore an ideal starting point for excursions in all directions. In addition to the idyllically located Ulmener Maar in the village center, which is the youngest of the Eifel Maare with about 11,000 years, there is anoth(PHONE NUMBER HIDDEN)-year-old Maar, Jungfernweiher. While the Ulmener Maar invites you to bathe or fish in the summer, the Jungfernweiher attracts you as a nature reserve with a walk in wonderful flora and fauna. The castle ruin of the crucifixion Heinrich von Ulmen is also worth a visit, with a charming view of the Maar, the Hexenbrunnen on the "Alter Postplatz" or the Celtic hillgrab from the year 500 BC. In Ulmen you will find 5 supermarkets, doctors, dentists, pharmacies, hairdressers, Cosmetics studio, savings bank, bakeries, butchers, restaurants and cafes. In walking distance from MaarZauber are: Restaurant Bürgerstube (about 100 m / Mondays closed) or restaurant Pizzeria Castello (about 200 m) and the bakery Lieder (about 200 m / Mondays closed). A WLAN hotspot is available free of charge at 400 meters at the town hall.
