This is a private room on the 3rd floor of the house. The bed has new Tuft & Needle queen mattress (super comfy) and the floors are the charming 1910 pine planks that are original to the house. The room has a massive closet, dresser, and writing desk. Great for long term stays! A steam radiator is located in the room and window A/C unit is available June-August. This is a private bedroom in a 6-bedroom condo, one of 2 separate condos in this historic Victorian home. Though the house was built in 1910, it's equipped with super-fast WiFi, shared 65" Roku smart TV, and streaming audio speakers in the living room. Laundry is located in the basement at no additional cost (just bring your own detergent!) We love our beautiful, historic home, but expect to find sticky doors and squeaky floors! It's on the edge of Manchester's North End, nice places to jog through the old mill houses, and close enough to walk to Elm Street (where the restaurants and bars are). Guests have access to all common areas including the living room, dining room, kitchen, and two full bathrooms (located on the 1st and 2nd floors.) Everything apart from the other bedrooms is available for your use. If you plan to cook, please bring your own food but you can use any spices, pots, and pans at the house. I just moved out of the house, but my wife and I live around the corner. Our house manager Diana is also available to help most days of the week. Check-in is a self check-in, so you can come and go whenever you need to. We often meet our guests, but not always. We're happy to help with recommendations and/or questions! Messaging us through the Airbnb app is the best way to contact us. If you have any issues, please let us know right away! The home is walking distance to several universities in the area (Franklin Pierce, MCPHS) and a short car/bike ride away from others. Livingston Park is nearby and a great place to go jogging, and all of the bars and restaurants are about a 15 minute walk away. The SNHU shuttle bus is just down the street. Restaurants and Bars on Elm Street are a 10 minute walk. You can easily use Uber or Lyft for longer distances and airport pickup. Free parking is available on the street directly in front of the house, and in designated spots on surrounding streets. A fire escape ladder is located in the closet. You may also run into our cleaning crew who come to clean the common areas once a week.
