Le Petit Foulinois - A quaint gite with a garden

'Le Petit Foulinois', named so after the man who built the house, lies in a shared court in a quiet little village, driving distance to the Morvan natural park. The house consists of One double room, One room with twin beds, and a comfy sofa-bed with springs on the kitchen mezzanine, all with black out blinds. Panoramic views of the spectacular countryside are just a 10 minute walk up to the local forest. The fully equipped kitchen features original bare stone walls and a large farmhouse table, with a mezzanine for apéro's that doubles as a tv-watching chill out space, and also as a sleeping area with a sofa-bed for extra guests . The botanical room is just that - filled with plants to bring oxygen, and contains a desk for remote workers. This mezzanine is designed as a cosy reading nook and brings a boho vibe (on which an extra bed can be added if needed). The bright and airy conservatory with summer kitchen and bar is another perfect apéro spot. Finally, the garden has a lovely shady tree and can be used for outdoor dining. Both bright and airy bedrooms have large velux windows with blackout blinds and their own bathroom - one upstairs and one downstairs, both equipped with showers. Perhaps not so suitable for small children unless supervised due to original farmhouse stairs and mezzanines. Possibility for tables d'hôtes (catered meal) upon request at €30 per person. La cuisine entièrement équipée présente des murs en pierre apparante et une grande table de ferme, avec une mezzanine pour l'apéro qui sert également d'espace de détente pour regarder la télévision, et de zone de couchage avec un canapé-lit pour les invités supplémentaires. La salle botanique est juste cela - remplie des plantes pour apporter de l'oxygène, et contient un bureau pour ceux qui doivent télé-travailler. La mezzanine botanique est conçue comme un coin lecture confortable et apporte une ambiance bohème (sur lequel un lit supplémentaire peut être ajouté si nécessaire). La véranda lumineuse avec cuisine d'été et bar est un autre endroit parfait pour l'apéro. Enfin, le jardin a un bel arbre ombragé et peut être utilisé pour les repas en plein air. Les deux chambres lumineuses et spacieuses ont de grandes fenêtres velux avec stores occultants et leur propre salle de bain - une à l'étage et une en bas, toutes deux équipées de douches. Peut-être pas si approprié pour les petits enfants à moins d'être surveillés, en raison des escaliers et des mezzanines d'origine de la ferme. Possibilité de tables d'hôtes sur demande à 30€ par personne. Private parking on the courtyard. Parking privé sur le court. Walking is popular in this area - I am happy to advise upon request - and include the local forest, the canal is a close bike ride or short drive away, and the natural park of the Morvan is around a 35 minute drive, with lakes and waterfalls. Vezelay is a popular tourist destination and is a 30 minute drive. A supermarket can be found in the next village (Tannay) a 10 minute drive away, and also has boulangerie and pharmacy. Local wine tasting can also be recommended on request.
