A beautiful 2 story Victorian home in a country setting. 15 minutes from the Dallas Zoo, and the Dallas food scene (Bishop Arts, Trinity Groves). 25 minutes from downtown Dallas. 15 minutes from Joe Pool lake (boat, jet ski, rentals, and hiking trails available). Close to Historic Waxahachie , 3 golf courses and shopping. The home is right in the heart of the little quaint town of Ovilla. A quick walk to the city park and after some BBQ from Frank’s across the street. Enjoy the small town feel , but if you are feeling adventurous , the big city isn’t far away. Enjoy the backyard at night wile drinking wine under Italian Hanging lights and s’mores by the fire . This is your home away from home ! Our guests when booking have access to the entire home , the front and backyard as well as the acre lot behind the house . There is also a creek property that we own across the street that you are more than welcome to enjoy . If you are curious as to where just contact us and we can show you! If you plan on having any events this must be approved by us. We do charge seperate event fees and any event is strictly not allowed unless previously approved by Loreen or Brett. The neighborhood has a small town country feel. You are surrounded by two churches and a quick walk from downtown Ovilla which has a car wash, bbq joint, post office, snow cone stand , antiques shop and coming soon a wine tasting room. Very safe community and quiet . We recommend having or renting a car when coming to stay. Although you can walk to downtown Ovilla, anywhere else would require a short car ride. All pertinent information, such as WiFi code, nearby restaurants and stores and emergency contacts will be on the fridge in the kitchen when you arrive . Make sure that when you put the address into GPS you choose Red Oak Creek RD. and not just Red Oak Rd. Because you will get lost .
