Salty Air in Durban * Self Catering Flatlet

My little flatlet is close to everything! Go and enjoy some waves on the beach and come home to discover the nighttime-vibes in Florida Road on foot. Feel at home in our cosy, creatively decorated, air conditioned, self catering flatlet. Enjoy Fibre internet, Netflix, books, games... and no loadshedding*! The flatlet is a perfect fit for two, with an open plan lounge/kitchen, bedroom, bathroom with shower and a separate toilet. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need to prepare a lovely meal and a little coffee/tea tray is waiting for you. You won't get bored with our wall of entertainment: books, games, Netflix and unlimited fibre internet (50mbps up/down). And we’ve got backup power for lights, WiFi and tv- so you’ll hardly notice load shedding! The flat is at te end of our driveway. So you have your own entrance, privacy and space. Unfortunately no parking inside, but our road has a night guard (but feel free to ask me and we make a plan). We might not always be home when we have guests, but when we are- we would love to meet you! Our house is always open for guests, for questions or just a little chat and who knows, we might end up sharing a meal :-) Our house is a 1 minute walk from Florida Road. This road is well known in Durban for the restaurants and vibrant nightlife. And if you like coffee, I can point you to at least 8 dedicated coffee shops within walking distance. The beach is the best place to be in Durban. Take one of our surfboards to try your skills on the waves if you like! The promenade along the beach is great for walks, or a run, cycling, rollerblading etc. with great spots for breakfast, ice-cream and of course Ushaka Marine World! It's only 2,5km to drive or run to the beach from our house. Other things you might want to visit around here are the Stadium, Botanical Gardens, the Bird Park or one of the many weekend markets. Our area is great to explore on foot, safe and vibrant with all the restaurants and shops around the corner. Are you here for business? Then you're also at the right address. My place is a comfortable place to rest, work (50mbps fibre internet), and ideal to grab a quick bite from one of the restaurants around the corner. And did I mention the abundance of coffeeshops yet? There is lots to do in our piece of Durban! A nice folder with many details of activities in and around the area will be waiting for you in the flatlet. And we will be very happy to assist and ensure you experience only the best of Durban! Getting around Durban is very convenient with Uber. You’ll get a driver within 5 minutes. From my place to the beach you’ll pay about R30. You’re also very welcome to bring a car. We offer off street parking.
