Cowan Beach House is located on a quiet leafy street, across from the vehicle free beach at Cowan Cowan. There are 3 bedrooms, 2 with queen beds and the third has 4 single beds, accommodating 8 guests maximum including children. Large kitchen area Entertain and cook the BBQ on the deck at the same time. This is a family friendly home with a great deck to lay back or entertain friends. With only a one minute walk to the Cowan Cowan beach, this holiday home is a must. All bookings through the office require valued credit card details 48 hours prior to arrival as your security bond. Or a $1000.00 bond payment Linen hire is included in the cleaning fee component for all guests, beach towels are not included. BRINGING A 4WD: As Moreton Island is a sand Island (3rd largest in the world) the only vehicles that operate on the Island are 4WD. Providing your vehicle is a 4WD, you can drive it on the island as all the tracks on the island are built for 4WD vehicles only. It is not recommended to bring an All-Wheel Drive vehicle across as they are too low for adequate ground clearance of the tracks. The MiCat vehicle and passenger Ferry from Howard Smith Drive, Lytton at the Port of Brisbane to the Tangalooma Wrecks is the only vehicle Ferry operating between Brisbane and Tangalooma, therefore early bookings are essential. WE DO RECOMMEND WHEN BOOKING ACCOMMODATION, YOU ALSO BOOK YOUR FERRY AT THE SAME TIME, OTHERWISE YOU MAY MISS OUT ON A FERRY SPOT OR GET A VERY EARLY LATE TIME OF ARRIVAL WHICH MAY BE AN INCONVENIENCE FOR YOU. POWER: We do wish to advise the property you have booked is totally reliant on sunshine for power. Therefore, guests cannot use in the property, hair dryers, hair straighteners, use appliances such as washing machines at night or plug into the house any personal car fridges. There are no microwaves or toasters in most of the properties as they cannot hold the power required to use these appliances.
