St Lawrence River Cottage

Our beautiful waterfront cottage on the St Lawrence River is newly built and furnished. Easily sleeps four in a 2 comfortable bedrooms with 1&1/2 baths. Open plan living/dining space with large windows to enjoy the views. This river cottage is tucked down a hill in a family neighborhood. Just steps from the river with a view to Canada and at the start of the beautiful Thousand Islands resort area. You will enjoy the quiet privacy of this single family home. This house is available when we are not in residence. Arrangements will be made for entry and cleaning upon vacating. I grew up in the house next door. To the other side are long time neighbors and friends. We have a rustic fire pit near the river for evening bon fires. We walk the back roads with our dogs and explore nature trails near and further afield. Swimming is excellent and we have several kayaks for enjoying the water. A car is a must to get around the north country.Short drives to Alex Bay & Clayton, NY. Enjoy a river boat cruise to Boldt Castle. Visit the Clayton Opera House and The Antique Boat Museum. Hike in Wellesley Island State Park. Swim or kayak in the river; relax on your front porch. Visit Canada's capital, Ottawa just 1 hour north. Adirondack Mountains hiking and Lake Placid resort just a 2 hour drive away.
