Villa Neubad apartments - Large room 4 people Villa Neubad is a new high class holiday apartment solution perfect for couples and families only two minute's walk from the beach and an hours drive from Riga. We offer high class apartments with access to modern kitchens, private gardens with barbecue facilities, sunny terraces, cafe with billiards, free parking etc. The apartment: Is a spacious 30 m2, beautifully decorated and furnished room accomodating up to 4 guests. Villa Neubad was completely renovated in 2016 and we welcomed our first guests in 2017. The building is a 3-story building. On first and second floor we offer 8 high class guest rooms with private bathrooms and access to shared kitchens and dining area, "Villa Neubar" our exclusive cafe with billiards. Outside, you can enjoy our huge terrace on 55 m2 and private gardens on 1700 m2 with barbecue facilities. All rooms are named after great cities and capitals of the historical Baltic region; once upon a time part of the great Hanseatic league with historical cities such as Riga, Tallinn, Stockholm and Rostock. As a Villa Neubad guest you have access to all facilities i.e. dining and living rooms, sunny terraces, privat gardens with barbecue facilities, evening bar with billiards and much, much more..... Saulkrasti Beach is a 17 km long natural beauty where you can witness the rich diversity from the singing sand in Lilaste to the stony shore of Zvejniekciems surrounded by old pine forest. The beach is swept by wind and shaped by waves, gathering sand and various nature treasures. Among them the white dune of Saulkrasti one of the most beautiful dunes of its kind in Latvia with a great sight to the Gulf of Riga. The White Dune is a natural sandstone layer, formed 405–350 million years ago. The beach zone is protected by law and “100” natural. During summer period the place is perfect for sunbathing and swimming and through spring and autumn for it’s beautiful walks with seasonal coloring. Saulkrasti is a small village with a population of around 6000 inhabitants and a typical Sommer holiday resort on the Baltic coast. The name of the city is Saulkrasti which means sun coast referring to the high average of sunshine hours compared to the rest of Latvia. The name “Villa “Neubad or new bath in English derives from the old German name for the city which lasted till 1933. Neubad was a thriving place for the Baltic-German elite who enjoyed the clean water, old pine forests and some of best air in Northern Europe. At Saulkrasti and the surrounding area you will find a unique blend of cultural heritage; Soviet time purely kept dachas from the 70s, wooden houses from Imperial times go hand in hand with today’s luxury villas – a pretty rare sight. In Saulkrasti you find all you need for your stay including 4 supermarkets, the nearest is 2 kilometers from Villa Neubad, cafés, restaurants and pubs. The nearest café and dining place is Koklites only 200 meters from Villa Neubad and beautifully located directly on the beach. From Riga airport you only have one hour’s drive, by public transport one a half hour. Busses depart every hour from the central bus station in Riga. Catch the bus - direction Ainazi and get off at Koklites only 5 min's walk from our Villa. You can also catch the electric train from Riga Central Station direction Saulkrasti or Skulte, get off at Saulkrasti. We can arrange to pick you on request.
