Country house to feel good with large garden

Arrive, feel good and relax! Are you looking for a place where you can relax and unwind with your loved ones? Our country house was built around 1880 and offers plenty of opportunities for families and friends to unwind. A charming world can be found behind cast-iron gates, as well as on over 3`000 m2 of garden, which is open to our guests from all over the world! Only 3 hours from Zurich (CH), and 4 hours from Paris (F) or Stuttgart (D). There is a lot to discover! We have fallen in love with this property and especially the small and fine details! With much joy we are constantly renovating and furnishing it yet leaving its original flair. The completely fenced yard and garden on 3000 m2 invites you to enjoy and linger. From April to September the whirlpool is in the garden. We offer you every comfort with studio lounge, deck chairs, barbecue, or fire bowl. Our studio on more than 70 m2 makes your heartbeat faster even when it rains or in winter! From October to March the whirlpool is in the studio. A large fireplace and lounge invite you to linger. Here music may be played and even smoking is allowed. While in the main house the other guests or even children, can enjoy their peace and quiet undisturbed. The renovated main house has tastefully furnished bedrooms that guarantee a good night’s rest. Through the first bedroom, you come to the second bedroom with connecting door. Ideal for large families or good friends. The equipped kitchen offers everything you need for cooking. A room for convivial hours, which provides with a fireplace for additional atmosphere. The comfortable living room offers a variety of entertainment with a large all-in-one PC with DVD player, cozy movie nights to linger. Our country house is optimally equipped for small children with a changing table. All toys may be used by our little guests. Dogs are also welcome here. Please follow the house rules, which also apply to your four-legged friend. If you love the country life or would like to discover it, you are exactly right here! The country life is calming, the closeness to nature is soothing. In a separate area on our property you can often find Sheep grazing. Dry bread to feed the sheep or the chickens is available for our "big" and "small" guests. The sunset accompanies you in the garden until the late evening hour where after the sparkling stars mesmerize you on a clear night. Laissez -faire! Let it happen - do nothing and just enjoy! The entire house and all rooms are accessible for our guests. In our accommodation there are bath towels for daily use, if required a changing table, seat boxes, blankets, sun sails, candles, etc. Firewood is provided by us. A small regional Welcome-Package welcomes our guests for an optimal start into the vacation! The property is looked after by our dear neighbor’s, a French- Portuguese family. They will hand you the key and give you an introduction. They are also available for any other questions you may have. Shopping facilities for daily essentials can be found in Jussey, only 5 minutes away by car. In the nearby town of Vesoul (approx. 25 min. by car) there are all kinds of shopping facilities, restaurants and sights. The Haute-Saône is a French department in the Franche-Comté region, which owes its name to a tributary of the Rhone called the Saône. The area is situated at the height of South Baden/North Switzerland and reaches up to about 60 km to South Baden Germany and Switzerland. The capital is Vesoul. In the varied but gentle landscape of the Haute-Saône there are many possibilities for walking or cycling tours. There are also various leisure activities such as kayaking or canoeing, boat trips on the Saône, gliding on the Vosges slopes. The Vosges mountains offer relaxing breaks and facinating experiences all year round. The two regional nature parks are true refuges of an exceptional flora and fauna. In Rongchamp, 40 km west of Vesoul, you can admire "La Chapelle" designed by the famous architect Le Corbusier. The castle museum "Château-Musée de Filain", 18 km south of Vesoul, or the "Castle Oricourt", as well as the "Castle of Villersexel" are worth a visit! Also, city lovers get their money's worth! The historic towns of Dijon or Besançon are worth a day trip and can be reached in only 1-1.5 hours. From spring to autumn flea markets (brocants) are held throughout the region. Off to the bargain hunt! With so many activities, the nearby thermal springs in Luxeuil-les-Bains will help you relax! Gevigney-et-Mercey is a charming village in the country. The best way to reach it is by car. Parents must keep their supervision - children are not allowed to go to the whirlpool or to the heated fireplace unattended. Dogs are allowed in our accommodation. However, we do take the liberty of charging a surcharge for the cleaning flat rate. This varies depending on the number of dogs and breed, as the cleaning effort is much higher. Dog blankets, sleeping baskets, towels etc. must be brought along by yourself. Dogs are not allowed on the beds. Smoking is allowed outside and in the studio. Social gatherings with music are allowed in an appropriate, private setting and only for the booked guests. The location may not be used for public events. The night's quiet time is to be strictly observed in the garden from 23.00 hrs, so that neighbors are not disturbed. Please operate the fire bowl and the grill with reasonable care. Do not use it in strong winds. You will find the wood for the fireplaces next to the studio.
